Im a recovering addict and watching your videos gives me motivation to keep sober so I can do some fishing of my own. I've learned so much from you and love the simplicity & respect your videos exhibit. I grew up near Galveston and fished a lot with my Memaw. I also lived in Wyoming where I spent all day fishing by myself when I was 9 months pregnant with my firstborn and ended up getting 2nd degree sunburn on my legs because I'm just that stubborn and enjoy it so much. I live in AZ now which doesn't offer much in the way of fishing so hopefully I'll make my way to FL at some point to revisit my love of it. Maybe for my 55th bday next year 😊

Brant, I started fishing in the fort (we come down every September) because of you. I really appreciate your channel, land based surf fishing (in the Pensacola and ft Pickens area) has become one of my favorite things and it's largely due to your and your channel. Caught a bunch of Spanish and mangrove last year. Thanks for all the help

I really do feel like I’m with you in the experience of what you are doing. I know you are giving the best information for the type of fishing you are doing that day. I have watched you as a guide years ago until now. Thank you for all the work you have put in to create content that truly helps people like me. I have gone from no knowledge of saltwater to limiting out of slot reds and trout in the Texas Gulf. I also caught my PB Bull Redfish of 40”. I am truly grateful for you Ron, Bama and all the folks that have been there for me fish after fish so that I can make my fishing dreams a reality.

I always fish for the fun of it. If it’s not fun, why do it? I love your videos because I feel like I’m right there. I don’t need gimmicks just nice fishing. Every time I watch, it’s something a little different and I’ve learned a lot. You’re a good steward of the land and respect for the wildlife and sea life.

16:30 i wish that were true here in Galveston Texas but i guarantee you if had a spot like that around here it'd be overfished and too many people to even cast a lure without getting hooked on other peoples tackle. bank fishing over here is horrible so you almost need a boat or kayak
@kennethlocke421326 күн бұрын
Mirror-lure work mainly due to shiny silhouette too. Therefore shad shape bass rattle trap maybe? It would make sense but a negative attribute is it dives to the bottom. Shallow area specked trout no problem. Rattle trap esp saltwater gold on a popping cork? Dive a bit every "pop" or short reel?

Brant, I think you misspoke about the limit on Spotted/Speckled Trout in the Western Panhandle region. The bag limit is 3 with a slot limit of 15"-19" and you can keep 1 fish over 19" but it counts toward your bag limit.
@AnglerUpTv25 күн бұрын

Love that clear water too, can be tough to fish though
@GregF-k7w26 күн бұрын
Why?
@SouthernFishNForage26 күн бұрын
@GregF-k7w requires more finesse. Lighter line/ tackle, better presentation, and I fish out of a boat so movement has to be minimal to not spook fish. Catching them from dirtier water is easier IMO but I love the challenge of clear water
