The “low fat” dairy gets me so fired up. We need those fats!! If the “health expert 🤡 s” tell you to do something we should all do the opposite. Such as drinking raw milk and eating full fat yogurt, etc! Proud of you, great job! Interested in the candida cleanse you did.

All I did was cut out soda & had smaller portions. I lost about 20 lbs pretty quick but I kept smaller proportions & over several years Iost 50 more lbs. So I have been happy to maintain that weight. I have been s-l-o-w-l-y cutting back on how much sugar I consume lately & I've recently lost another 20 lbs. That's 90 lbs all together. The biggest thing I did was keeping smaller portions, & not going back to big portions. But I wasn't in a hurry because I don't want to find any of the weight back & it stays off better if I lose it steadily. But whatever method you choose, make it part of your lifestyle, don't go back to eating the way that you used to. One more tip. I decided that during the holidays I tell myself not to GAIN more weight that I'll have to lose later. I choose small bites of all the sweets I like, & realize that adds up to a big serving of one thing. The hardest part for me is not stuffing myself with holiday sweets. But coming up to January without tipping the scale feels great...

Very important point is to cook all your meals yourself. Store bought keto have very bad ingredients in it. My sister in law lost her ball bladder. I also use intermittent fasting. Jesus was constantly fasting. Bible got everything in it.

I did Keto a couple years ago, and I lost a lot of weight. I am still completely zero sugar, even honey, other than berries. Being sugar free is easy, but some of the starches have crept back into my diet (pasta, rice, beans, and my beloved homemade sourdough). Ive gained all that weight back. I think I'll start over using your "baby steps method", and incorporating intermittent fasting. Thanks for the encouraging video ❤

I love Dr. Berg! I've been doing IF for about two months and I've lost 17 pounds. My weight has stalled, but I haven't changed what I eat, so I need to start looking at that now...

Since I was a child I only ate 1 meal which was dinner at 6 pm to 7pm and I was never hungry even at dinner time. There were days I could go without even eating at all. I was thin, yes. I had no idea really what I was doing...that was just what I did. I didn't eat the healthiest meals at dinner though, not knowingly even eating this way. My grandmother was so concerned about my size when I was a child that she took me to the doctor to see if I was anorexic. Which I was not. He asked her if I ate, I did, he said I was fine. When I turned about 42 I started eating more and then I started gaining weight more. People said I looked better, but i didn't feel better. But, I continued to eat more and still not feeling well. So, now I am 50 and I am working on going back to this style of eating as well as the Whole food plant based lifestyle rather than Keto. For one, I know now what I was doing to begin with without even knowing it. I never had energy issues or anything like that just eating the once a day at dinner. Occasionally, I would eat a light lunch, but not that often. I'm going to work my way back to that making sure that the foods that I get proper foods and not processed or fatty. Right now I'm at the two meals a day like Kip. But, I will be changing that soon enough. Thanks for the video. Love watching your journey

I used slimming world to get rid of the near 30 pounds I put on during lockdown. One thing I was taught is that when you feel hungry check you are not just dehydrated and need water. Its great cos I have to watch carbs and fats but I can have as much fruit and veg as I like which keeps me feeling contented. Im thinking of using the intermitent fasting for maintainance of my weight, and also for self discipline. You both look super healthy .

I found one meal a day works very well for me. There are a few days a month I will eat 2 meals, however I find I get hungry much sooner. Now I will snack when in the garden, picking a few dandelion flowers or a kale bud (don't need then all to bloom), or a couple raspberries while picking them. It is amazing how little food we actually need! I have not lost weight but I also have not gained, weighing the same as 5 years ago.

Hi 👋🏻 everyone! The concrete is looking great! On the eating plan, I agree with a lot of what you said…Candida can be a huge problem! It’s also important for our bodies to have metabolic flexibility..so being able to burn both fat and carbs. Sometimes if we are too restrictive it can lessen our flexibility and put us into stress mode, sending cortisol up. Just a friendly word of caution. 🙏 Blessings to each one in your family ❤️

Dr. Berg is one of my friends actual doctors. She knows him personally. Brilliant man. Happy for your new path to health, Kip. I REALLY need to get back to this. I was diagnosed with Lupus over a year ago, and went gluten free, and sugar free, and was eating clean. I was starting to feel better. Then, right before Christmas, I got Covid. Lost a LOT of weight with Covid. After I got better, I fell off the wagon. Back to my old junk diet. Packed all the weight back on. I was convicted by this to get my act together. Thank you for the wake up call. What am I doing to myself? Ugh.

We have to stay strict Keto or we will get sick/stomach. We fast from 8pm to about 2pm. Since we don't eat breakfast it's easy to fast the longer time. SO happy for you. God Bless.

Glad to see you have found Dr. Berg. In May of 2019 I started my keto and intermittent fasting journey. I lost almost 60 lbs and got off all prescription drugs. I loved having no clothes that fit me, bought a new wardrobe after a year of wearing clothes too big for me. I jumped straight into this with both keto and fasting from day one. Doing OMAD I had a small eating window for about a year and a half. I even did extended fasts for 72, 48 hours several times. I am still fasting daily but have slacked some and extended my eating window while going through a very stressful time and suffering anxiety for the first time. But I am still a lot healthier feeling. Much love to you and the whole family 💕

Dr. Berg is a member of The Church of Scientology. It's a Cult. He donates millions of dollars to that cult. Everytime anyone watches his channel and you tube pays him and everytime someone buys his products he sells, a good generous portion of the money goes to the Church of Scientology. You can verify what I'm telling you through the internet. His son was the one who originally exposed this dirty secret. We stopped watching his videos and quit ordering his products. I do t want myhard earned money supporting a Cult.

Visiting from Homestead Tessie. Congrats on your new lifestyle. I've been one meal a day for 2 yrs. I started keto but have transitioned to more of a carnivore diet. I have carbs but I keep them as low as possible. The goal is zero carbs but that rarely happens. I used to watch Dr. Berg everyday. Now I prefer Dr. Ken Berry. But its not for everyone. Health is an individual journey.

I should say I quit the dr. berg way of eating because I started having health issues with all those veggies. It almost killed my thyroid and I got way to thin. Switching to fatty meat fixed all damage done by Dr. Bergs method. I'm not saying it doesn't work. I know many people who do well on that keto diet. It just didn't work for me. Again I'm so happy to see you improving your health and helping others to do the same with this video. Have a Blessed Day!

Glad to hear you've been seeing positive effects in your health by making lasting changes ^.^ I find that intermittent fasting doesn't always work for me as it triggers migraines if I skip meals, and I usually have to try keeping 4 hours between meals so the window would be too short. But if I vary it up and sometimes only eat twice a day it can work as long as it's not every day... I do find that eating late regardless isn't great! I used to do "keto" or high fat low carb as well, but I was underweight and find I can't keep on weight when I am eating that way 😅 despite enough calories. My lowest weight was not good! So it still amazes me still how individual people's needs can be... great that you mentioned making changes slowly, that can be super important. May our Creator bless you and your family with strength and health 😊

Honey has the same chemical structure as white sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, and is close to several others. Good to hear you use stevia, but it is hard to find in a pure form without added chemical sweetener in it. I lost weight like you did, and lost my gall bladder from the sudden loss of weight. One to two pounds a week is healthy...good luck to you on your health journey. (Chips turn to sugar in the body no fiber, overly processed.)

Glad to see that you listen to Dr Berg. Many of your problems seem to be more common than we think. The SAD diet I think has contributed to this. IF is very helpful for me, too. As a R.Catholic we were taught (preparing for first comm. and confirmation) to fast 12 hours before receiving Holy Communion every Sat/Sunday. Also during Lent. Some people receive (H.C.) every day. Depriving yourself is both physically and spiritually cleansing. Try Dr. Berg's fat bombs...they can curb cravings. I used no sugar alternative (honey or maple syrup either) at all. Later I added a Stevia sweetener but I think that caused me to plateau. I have kept 35lbs. off also, but need to lose more to heal my body. Good luck with your health journey. Thanks for the encouraging video! God Bless your beautiful family!

I have recently started IF (this will be my 2nd week)... I was understanding that water and unsweetened herbal tea was still OK during your fasting times... is that not the case?!? I am starting with a fairly wide eating window for now... (11am-8pm) since I have never been good at all about not eating late night foods... and I wanted to start small- and so far I've done quite well. I also (for now) have let Friday nights (Erev Shabbat) fasting begin a little later... do you/will you give yourself times for some wiggle room? I think you're right... baby steps are KEY!! And I think 'keto leaning' is a great way to go!! Do you still drink/use raw milk? We are going to be having 2 baby calves coming in the next 4-6 weeks!! And the 2nd one about 6 weeks later... so I know we will have LOTS of raw milk we will need to utilize!! Can you share what candida cleanse you did/followed?! One last question... are you still using raw honey as your sweetener of choice? I know that honey is usually frowned upon in the keto world. My personal goal is to find a way to marry IF and a Nourishing Traditions life together.... we'll see how that all goes!?!! If you feel led to- please keep me in your prayers that I am able to stick with this- amd continue to take baby steps till I am at a place where the weight is coming off (again) something happened after I entered those later 40's!! It was like my whole body was like- oh. Ok, train is stopping- night night. And I gained 35 lbs over the summer- and I'm not even sure how!?! Like y'all we eat really clean, wholesome and as healthy as we can (minus my downfall for Rebel brand ice cream!!) I suspect I need to do the Candida cleanse you mentioned.... I have had awful (almost like 'drug addict level') cravings for (mostly) sweets, but also breads and other carbs as well. Ok and my final thing... would you maybe consider sharing in a video some of your favorite family friendly keto- leaning meals? You guys are such a blessing... my family just loves your family so much. Whenever we watch any if your videos we ALWAYS come away a little more encouraged, inspired, uplifted, and often times learning something new and interesting! So thank you so much for truly being a 'safe harbor' - especially in the murky and muddy waters of social media!! Yahuah is using your family is such a tremendous and mighty way for His Kingdom!! 💓🙌🙌

Sorry for the late response here Cristy. We haven't checked comments here much since moving back to our old channel, 1000's of roots. You have some great questions and may already have the answers you need, so I'll be brief. Yes, water, herbal tea, even a little coffee are okay while fasting. We use a little stevia to sweeten. Yes, wiggle room is totally fine. Raw milk is great in moderation. The candida cleanse Kip used is RevewLife CandiSmart. Raw honey is great in moderation also. Combining IF with Nourishing Traditions would be wonderful. The key is to lower your "heavy/sweet" carbs like potatoes, sourdough bread, raw honey, apples, etc. (try half as much), get moderate high quality protein, plenty of healthy fats (if you can handle them), and lots of leafy greens and brassicas. Thanks for your suggestion on sharing some favorite keto-leaning meals. We'll see what we can do. Blessings to you and your family!

Excellent. I've been doing IF/healthy keto for 3 years and have lost 135 lbs, reversed all of my health issues and my body feels amazing! I'll never go back to the standard American diet ever again. Plus, fasting is biblical.

I watch Dr. Berg everyday! He totally tranformed the way I eat. Wow! What a difference. HIGLY RECOMMEND watching Dr. Eric Berg videos! Intermittent fasting along with Keto is the key. A combination of those will change your health. But, pay attention to the food quality as well.

I struggle to get any weight to come off me. I have several chronic issues that make it hard to lose weight. I have considered intermittent fasting. But as it is right now I only have 1 meal a day, the dinner meal. Since you have shared this I may give Dr. Berg’s “program” another look.

Kip, Carrie & family....we don't have 'weeds' as such, but.....scotch thistles 'everywhere, every year'...they come up from the ground constantly & grow like, well weeds. Concrete, yesss I don't like it, but it does have its uses & it's quite expensive too, so congratulations 😄 Kip, if you are unhappy in any part of your life....in your case your working away from your family, that can attack your health, can cause bad habits & eating wrong. Well done Kip.

Y’all are such a blessing! In a world so full of hate, division, and evil -watching your videos has brought me so much peace. You’re videos have also brought me back to The Father and reminded me of what my priorities should be. For that, I will be eternally grateful. ❤️
