Pikmin 1 and 2 have been re-released on every Nintendo home console since their debut on the GameCube and are the only Nintendo series to do that. This guy really set himself up.

Wuh, no they haven't. Neither were re-released on Wii U, so prior to this reveal, Pikmin 1+2 had only been re-released on a grand total of 1 other system lol

@@speed0 True, but I wouldn't count that as an indication that Nintendo cared so much for Pikmin that a re-release on Switch was inevitable. Re-releasing an older version of a game digitally takes barely any commitment at all, especially when the hardware already fully supports it with backwards compatibility. At least with Pikmin 1+2 on Wii they cared enough to update the control scheme and release it as a boxed Wii game, hence why I'd only count that one.

To be fair, they're charging 30 (technically 20-25 in the bundle) for Pikmin 1, I'd consider that a paywall, that game is old and short af.

Yes and no, I am not a yoshi main, in my series "Smash Time" I take a random character and play with them in the game, however in Yoshi's episode I liked him alot and he got a high rating

Not to be pedantic but aren't all games behind a paywall? I am glad GCN games are coming to Switch though and they are standardizing a price with them ($30-40 depending on remastering). Hoping for my childhood games come: Paper Mario 2, F-Zero GX, Wind Waker, Luigi's Mansion 1, and Melee (Huffing on copium)

At least the good thing is Nintendo seems to care about more of their legacy franchises. Hopefully the F-Zero & Chibi-Robo fans get something soon

Apparently Miyamoto has always loved his child, Pikmin. I think the issue is they just don't know WTF to do with the series. How to keep it moving forward without throwing 4 New Super Pikmin Bros. games to the point fans are tired of it.

the only thing i find strange is that you said this after smash released, when over half of nintendos switch lineup were ports from older consoles or minor updates to older game series. at this point you could count the originals on 2 hands. only recently are we getting huge waves of new nintendo games, after sm5sh's EOL. like the switchs lineup has been more or less legacy content with a few new toys here and there, and that only changed, hilariously enough, with the very direct that you bet against. anyways good on you, peanut faced smash player, for keeping your word. was it crunchy, chunky, or creamy?
