I'm a fat trans man and I can't tell you how much I hate my big breasts. Because of me being fat my binder (which I'm wearing in the right size so don't worry) doesn't do that much and I still have obvious boobs. I'm doing my best to lower my weight to make them as small as possible and on therapy to get hormones but it takes long. I hate it and I also hate seeing those "trans" people stating that they love their boobs no matter if they are naturally so big or because they're fat too. It's nothing than offensive to me. If you say you're a trans man while loving your boobs then guess what: you're not trans

You are a respectful and respected trans man. As a gay man I went through the “a boy but attracted to other boys and like pink” period before knowing I was gay. Then I stopped feeling confused but just calculated to hide it… imagine if dome creepy attention/clout seeking adult told me I needed to change my gender fit liking boys and liking pink… I’d be mutilated and possibly writing my last letter … to be truly trans I’d a journey; not a trend for kids and their parents to feel included in a “parade” that they don’t even know the history of .

I’m a mtf TS. I had horrible gender and sex dysphoria since childhood. I was completely sexually avoidant of my body and genitals, romantically avoidant and socially avoidant and dysphoric pre transition and pre surgery. I work with gay men who are suddenly claiming trans because they like girly things and want to use a trans identity as a way to get guys. Good for you for not getting lumped in. Seems that fem gays have realized that they have a better shot at getting laid as a trans person then as a fem gay man, even though they were totally fine being gay, having gay sex, being in gay relationships. Meanwhile I couldn’t even function pre transition. It’s such a slap in the face to see my drag race loving gay coworkers thinking a wig and make up makes them the same as myself and other transsexuals. Lots of gays using the broadening definition of “trans” as a dating strategy and trying to get with the men who are seeking girls and TS girls and thinking that liking boys and pink makes you trans now. Very sad!

Not gay men. I had several suicide attempts and had no one to talk to about my sexuskity or feelings. I though I was evil and would go to hell and I was possessed. Helen Joyce nailed this entire phenomenon/youth trend maelstrom during the Heretics podcast. She said it's juvenile and 'has a teenage vibe about it where everybody is rebelling in exactly the same way'-- she also said it was rooted in not wanting to be boring and ordinary...wanting to seem special and different and cool and interesting. It really is that simple in the vast majority of young people interested in over-processing 'identity' and getting neck deep in the attendant politics.

If I might, (I love your contributions) I would like to add a POV as someone raising a daughter struggling with her "identity." In her case, her struggle is because of her hereditary body composition. She's a very curvy petite female who hit puberty in 6th grade, when her peers still looked like children. Men treated her differently almost instantly, and that includes teachers and dad. She experienced objectification as a woman, when she was still a child emotionally, and it has distorted her view on healthy and normal male/female interaction. All this background is meant to bring you to the understanding that she hates her female body, and she also strongly dislikes most men. But SHE IS NOT GENDER DYSPHORIC; and she does not believe she's a male in a female body. She just dislikes her female body; she dislikes the female roles she's being forced into; and she strongly dislikes the objectification that comes with her body type (she hates having huge boobs and and a booty and tries to hide them in masculine clothing). There is a difference, and I do believe many, if not most, of the more recent female transitioners (I can't speak on men, because I think kink is a factor in some of those) are confusing their feelings about their appearance with gender.

I’m curious, almost all teenage girls have some body issues; it’s part of growing up. Why do you think kids today are having such a hard time coping with negative feelings about their bodies? They seem to almost hate themselves as female. Do you think it’s because of the confusion about the meaning of gender and sex? Do you think the unrealistic beauty standards on social media have an influence? I’m also curious how a young girl worries about being objectified? That seems like kind of a concern an adult would have, not a young girl. Do you think kids are being forced to grow up too quickly and worrying about things that they can’t control? (Sorry for all the questions but I’m really interested in a parents point of view. 😊)
@mauchkimberly
@mauchkimberly 8 ай бұрын
@@thepolitewierdo For most of your questions, yes is the answer. Re: how does a child become objectified, she had a very mature body by 6th grade and her peers looked like children. She was sent to the office for dress code violations more than once, because her bra strap showed. Meanwhile the girls could come to school in very thin tanktops, super short shorts and an oversized hoodie, as a jacket (it was that fashion trend involving the hydroflask cups) . Because they looked like children it did not matter to the teachers. My daughter's bra straps mattered. Her male teachers also treated her differently; he was the one who kept sending her to the principal for dress code violations. And her best friend was a boy who lived across the street. Their relationship changed; they are not friends now. She couldn't fit in. She couldn't wear the popular clothes of her peers, because she would absolutely break dress code. And mean girls is not just a movie. But what I think is the biggest issue is the general message of hatred, for females, expressed on every platform. Regular women are called hideous monsters and only cartoonishly ridiculous versions of females are considered beautiful. I'm not saying everyone's a hater, or poor women, boo hoo. I'm saying that every message says the same thing: real women suck. Why would any girl want to be that when that's the message?

Growing up as a young girl, I was taught to be ashamed of my body. When I reached puberty, I filled in... A lot! My peers teased me, claiming I "stuffed my bra" because I wanted attention. Once, I was even accosted in the locker room by three girls, who held me against a bank of lockers and cut off my bra. When it fell to the floor and no "stuffing" fell with it, they spun me around to see if it had all just stuck to my body. They found nothing and walked away laughing. They didn't even apologize for cutting off a brand new bra and the school did nothing about it. It was so embarrassing! After that, I started to slouch, a lot. I have always been a tomboy, so the slouching and short haircut I started sporting after this event sometimes made it look like I was a boy. Never did I ever wear a binder, or question being a biological female, and I certainly never wanted to transition. These young people today confound me. They haven't even really begun to live their lives yet and already they want to make changes that cannot be undone! Why can't kids just be kids? Get off the internet and go touch grass for Pete's sake!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ (not you Marcus, you're wonderful and I adore you!)

An amazing channel. Just wanna add from my xp: to anyone who's ever been a victim of bullying / hate / violence because of their appearance, gender, orientation, race : DO NOT ever let a hateful notion 'there's something wrong with me' sink in. Trust me, it's a recipe for self hatred and compulsive anxieties later on. When we suffer and we need a break, it's only natural to think: maybe if I wasn't 'different', if I was 'normal' I would be accepted. No, haters will always find something else to prey upon. I've always had kinda androgynous look, which was a fuel for bullies when I was growing up. I embraced it, used it to my advantage in my acting / modeling career, I was almost the face of Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

Absolutely! When someone says "I hate myself" or something like that, I want to ask them "who made you hate yourself?" and start digging from there. No one can hate themselves all of a sudden like that (unless the person is born with dysphoria or other mental condition).

you're a strong voice and a bright light, Marcus! medical transition can be an effective treatment for those with persistent gender dysphoria. these silly geese are making a mockery of a serous mental health condition. we can all play around with our presentation without medicalizing ourselves. i recently saw someone say that even mentioning "gender ideology" is seen as some sort of phobic dog whistle. yet, the cult of ideology is very real, and it greatly profits more than one industry. *i fully support people who benefit from medical transition and can live their lives happily looking like the opposite sex!* i once got banned from a subreddit for defending a trans woman who had made a joke about her anatomy. because a trans woman acknowledging her anatomy makes the trans woman transphobic and the mods said i broke their no transphobia rule by... defending the trans woman.

I’m honestly so glad I grew up in conservative, underdeveloped country because all this is really dangerous. I’m talking from my viewpoint as a biological woman who is completely fine with being a woman but I never liked the idea of having curves or bigger chest and it literally just comes from the fact that I have struggled with €ds and just simply been insecure about my body changing as I grow up. My point is that if I was open about my mental problems in western countries nowadays, they probably would have said I have gender dysphoria because they just strive to push this ideology and “affirm” when my problem is literally just that I am not comfortable in my body just because I’m insecure and it has nothing to do with my gender identity. There are so many young girls who are just uncomfortable with changes in their body as they grow up and that doesn’t mean that they are “in the wrong body”. I still have small chest and have almost no curves and I feel more comfortable this way but I love being a woman, I am actually really feminine but imagine how they could take advantage of insecurities of young girls to push the narrative and ruin their lives along with it.…

It makes me so mad to see how trendy it has become to fake being trans by people who are mentally ill, insecure, pushing a political agenda, seeking fame and marketing products. Trans people are not a joke. It’s incredibly disrespectful to distort it like everyone trans is basically in drag or wearing a costume. Maybe you can answer this question for me. Why, when men have gender dysphoria, is it a foregone conclusion that they think they must be a woman? That seems like such a HUGE leap. “I’m not happy in my male body, therefore I must be a female.” How about, “therefore maybe I need some counseling, or therefore maybe my testosterone level is low, or therefore maybe I have an endocrinology imbalance? I can think of a million other “therefore’s” that make more sense than, therefore I must be a woman.
