I’m back in the old Volvo 10 speed truck.. I missed a gear!! 🤦🏾‍♂️

In today’s video, I’ll be driving a manual transmission truck through the city as I make my deliveries. To all of the new drivers coming out of trucking school, learning how to drive a manual truck takes time. It’s a learning process. The more reps you get behind the wheel the better driver you will become over time. We know companies are phasing out manuals but it’s still a good skill to learn in my opinion.

Man! I love a automatic too, i run both and im in the manual today actually. It's definitely less headache with the 10 speed if you dont have to stop and go so much but the automatic is all around a winner.

It’s all preference. Them old heads just stuck in their ways. I do like 18 speeds but man to be able to get the job done without much work/thought just takes the cake for me lol

I drive both but prefer automatic less work all I gotta do is get in and drive not saying I can’t drive manual’s cause I definitely can I just like manuals should be mainly for otr definitely not city

10 speed is easy af, maybe bc I learned it in school. Never drove anything else. I would be nerve racked if I got put in a 13 or 18 speed lol.

@tyreerockets I wouldn’t go that far to say it’s easy bro lol..If it was that easy there wouldn’t be so many people with auto restriction..Driving a manual does take a certain level of coordination and focus that a lot of people just can’t grasp the concept.

@@imanthonytv got ya. That was my route when I got hired. Thought it was gonna be temporary since I was training but I was told that was gonna be my route. Got burnt out quick.
