Awesome video bro The way I do my fish, any fish. Is on the grill. Wrapped in aluminum foil with all my favorite ingredients, sliced onions, sliced tomatoes. Sliced lemon, sliced garlic. Put it on top of the grill. Give it a turn. Bring it out and it’s ready to go in my ballet.

As much as you fish, you should invest in a ice machine for the garage. 20 # min a trip? Fish for the table, Flounder, then Trout, then Reds. Don't have the inshore snapper here. Triple-Tail is lucky lurking a channel buoy.

I primarily catch and release, BUT always bring ice just in case, you never know when you are going to get a slot red or snook or some bonus catch like when i found pompano last spring. I do enjoy the days when i go "grocery shopping", but thats typically if i bring out someone who is not a seasoned angler, and we go hit the trees and docks for mangoes and sheepies.

Ah, so now you are truly a sportsman and a true fisherman. Welcome to the club. J/K Been fishing for food since 1950's. I eat what it makes sense to eat and what I need, Release too small, too large or what I don't need, BTW. Lots of good fish out there, What sportsmen catch is not a valid concern for the fish population. Commercial fishing and solution are the issues, YUM
@he_91n563 күн бұрын
I watch your videos for a few years now and I'm actually glad, that you quit pure Catch&Release fishing.👍🏻 Eating fresh fish, which you caught yourself is the best thing ever. Here in Germany🇩🇪 Catch&Release is actually illegal, because catching fish just for sport and harming them with no reason is seen as animal cruelty. I normally eat about 50% of the fish that I catch. The other half is always flopping back into the water.😉😅

Ive been doing this as well this past year, i was always catch and release. But i would recommend cooking the whole fish when possible, and compost the scraps dont throw them away, it feels more sustainable all in all. Remove big fins, gills and guts, season and stuff the stomach with herbs and lemons/oranges and butter, and oven bake or pan fry, definitely get alot more meat in the end hand picking through it as well, its not as convenient but feels right.

I was gonna be negative about this way of thinking but I will probably never understand unless I have children (The whole giving up on trophy hunting/catch and release, eat your limit idc)
@YuriPicanco4 күн бұрын
I used to think like that too. But if you stop to think about it. Its actually more cruel from an animal rights perspective to catch and release than catch and keep it. In the first your only goal is to play with the fish while getting it incredibly stressed while in the second you actually have a reasonable reason to catch it.
@Bourger4 күн бұрын
@yuripicanco yes there is a good argument to make about fishing being cruel in general
