I did this twenty years ago on B body, 69' superbee. now after kids are gone basically i'm working on a 72' duster white with black graphics 318. say what you want to say about 318s but i had a 68 dart with a 318 and it was a rip snortin sun of a gun.

Solve its deficiencies (compression, camshaft, induction) & they make good power, AND are cheap as chips.

Really nice video. I didn't take my doors or fenders off, not sure if I'm going to. I'm not sure I could get them back on and adjusted right so I guess I think I'm better off to leave them alone. I'm curious about the seam between the roof and quarter panel. I still haven't filled my yet so now I'll wait and see how you do it. Did you use a single stage paint? Really enjoyed watching, thanks. @@yuma5745 make sure you click the bell under the video. I have had people tell me it still might not do ot. Best to check back every week for some form of video. On your questions, If your car is mostly clean, and doesnt need pin bushings then leave the doors on. Just take time to prep around the hinges, etc. Roof seams originall were filler on vinyl top cars, and lead on non vinyl cars. I always use duraglass in this seam. Durable, strong, waterproof, then fine fill with regular filler. On the paint ive done on this hidden areas and undersides, i use single stage acrylic enamel.

I like the green. But I was buying new back in the day and 68-70 it seemed like you could get new cars in any color as long as it was green! 🤷‍♂️
