Suggested on the feedback forum that copper horns should act like eyes of ender where you play it and you get a responding sound. Said sound tells you how near or far you are from an ancient city by being louder or quieter respectively. If only because in the experimental snapshot I heard it often took hours to find one. Not sure how popular an idea it is, but there you go.

I'm really hyped for Furnace boats in 2030. I'm sure they'll be super useful, just like Furnace minecarts. Imagine a boat. But it moves in a straight line on its own. Incredible. I've only ever used the second boat slot for co-op or for my horse. however, due to a tragic experience involving my perfect horse (named Deputy) and a large pocket of deep snow, I will no longer be bringing a horse with me in a boat. In my first/current long-term solo survival world, I have a few spawners a long way from my base, and I haven't progressed enough for a Nether highway to be realistic, so a chest boat would make those long trips more efficient.

For me the boat with chest is nice because if you don’t have or running low on shulkers you can use it but more importantly when you go on explorations to get items you can use those as backup storage. eg. getting tons of sand or gravel

About the Allay, the reason for not damaging them while they hold items is because, if you're mining with Allays around you, them collecting the items you break, they a lot of times end up in front of you, and you can hit them on accident

I swear I saw something with Netherite Armor infused with Elytras. I'd give Elytras armor variants, which can be dismantled to broken Elytras with reset enchant weight- but leave the enchants behind on armor. Also the case if the suit breaks off the Elytra- but Mending and Unbreaking stays on. Those enchantments are turbo valuable, so... The reason for resetting Elytra? You can't exactly farm infinite Elytras easily... Perhaps you put it on the first armor you saw, and called it a day... Perhaps you wanna transfer the wings off that fire resist piece for one with protection?

I’m a fan of the backpack idea honestly. Backpack and tool belt. Have a backpack and tool belt made of overworld items that adds 3 extra slots to your inventory and the toolbelt adds 1 extra slot to your hot bar, then have a version made from nether items that gives you 6 extra slots in your inventory and 2 extra slots in your hot bar, and the same with items from the end that give you 9 extra slots in your inventory and 3 extra slots in your hot bar.

I think a better way to go about the chest boats would to make them work somewhat similar to the donkeys. Perhaps by right clicking on the boat with a chest or opening your inventory while inside of the boat. Since boats are considered entities. Then it could slot the chest into the back slot. That way if they ever do decide to give chests based on wood types, they wouldn't have to make 60+ combination varieties.

Chest boats could prove to be more useful than shulker boxes. You can't put a shulker box inside of a shulker box, but with chest boats that isn't a problem. You can put 27 shulker boxes in a chest boat, another 36 in your inventory, and easily transport so many more items than we can currently. If they add the ability to put leads on boats in Java, then you could have several chest boats each filled with shulkers. Chest boats can also serve as an early-game shulker box.

Redstoners have already figured out the redstone use for chest-boats. They have a hit box that's almost 2X2 in the footprint they cover. Therefore, you can fit it on top of up to 9 hoppers at a time. This means that you can pull items out of your chest-boat at 9X normal hopper speed, which speeds up item collection systems significantly. Redstoners already consider chest-boats to be a game changer just because of that. The Redstone community loves the things.

Maybe a new type of chest. Chest + deepslate = reinforced chest? That way there isn’t a huge number of crazy variants

Another change is putting the chest boat in a minecart and you can row you loot on a minecart track... not a big thing but could be helpful

Maybe the boat chest could be used as part of a redstone docking system after long travel. You could just swim into it and have the items in the chest from your journey be pulled out by a hopper and have the boat ready for your next journey.

you can use boat with chest on ice for super fast deliveries, fastest horizontal transportation of items now (I think)

You can open the chest within the boat by pressing e or opening your inventory. Good vid btw.

Now they have to add furnace, hopper, tnt, and spawner boats and the furnaces can be made from different types of cobblestone (blackstone, endstone, deepslate, etc.) So you can have an unnecessary amount of boat combinations

In bedrock there's a bug that makes boats randomly disappear and it will be so funny if that remains during 1.19 and you see boat chest just vanish while having multiple shulker boxes full of stuff in there

Well you want to see a game changing redstone community thing, here's how it is a bit game changing, with the big farms that end up with a lot of items storage is an issue so in the past people might use a dispenser to cram many Minecart chests into one space they can do that with boats and use way less iron this way now as far as accessing this storage goes it's best that you sort the items first because the way you gotta get them is by filtering them to 1 chest or maybe double chest
