I made a Boros Goad Deck?? || Baeloth Barrityl + Noble Heritage || EDH Commander Deck Tech

hey guys so correction: Noble Heritage does not give your CREATURES protection, only YOU. so, you wouldn’t be able to swing out with your creatures with no consequences. HOWEVER, you would be protected on the crackback because nothing your opponents own could target or deal damage to you. small detail that I missed so im sorry for the mix up!! still a very dope deck that I can’t wait to build!

Noble Heritage only gives you protection from a player IF they take the 2 1/1 counters. Not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. Ideally you'll have Baeloth pumped enough everything will be goaded anyway. That said, I think I might have to take a crack at making a Boros goad deck. Without using Goad.^^

I'm also in the process of making my own version of this. I am a bit worried that mana could be a problem. Baeloth costs 5 and should draw a lot of attention.

there’s plenty of cheap protection spells and equipment you can attatch to baeloth! Loran’s Escape and Boon of Safety both come to mind but there are plenty if others

I see a lot of "free" equip creatures, yet the deck is missing Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. This card is 25 cents! I also think you could totally run this deck with a few more planeswalkers and use the goad as protection for them, but 'walkers get a bit expensive to there's that. Love the deck tho, I'll make my own version for sure!
