“Hello, my lovelies!” This is my absolute favourite opening line on KZbin.

I’ve made several similar bags that I keep accessories for specific costumes in. I like to use a scrap from the costume for the outer circle so I can tell at a glance which costume the bag goes with

Perfect for D&D dice-how clever! I may attempt this for my sister for stones. I might even be able to do this without botching the whole thing! Thank you, Gilbert!

I have a bag like this, that my grandmother purchased as a gift for my mom. She used it to store jewelry; specifically strands of (imitation) pearls and other bulky necklaces/ bracelets in the pockets, with the matching earrings kept in the middle portion. I love the idea of using it as a travel sewing kit!

I have a couple of these bags, and I use them to put jewlery in when I travel.

This looks so beautiful! And as you said, it's also quite simple. Might I say how much I loved all the dice you were showing us? Lovely. Thank you

This looks very do-able as a handsewing project. I might give this a go as a summer holiday project with my boys, who love to make stuff and have vast quantities of small precious things that need to be put somewhere.

This could work for carrying/storing so many different things! Such a simple and efficient design. Love it! Thank you for sharing the process.

Thank you for this! My 6 year old has decided he wants to make one for his legos and I am 110% on board with that idea! This will be perfect!

I actually made something like this..I off centred the inner circle to accommodate my different sized scissors. It turned out pretty good..still use it after 30yrs. I did use fake leather for the tips of the scissors...

Ooooh, this is brilliant! Lots of inspirations... Smaller ones for sewing notions/buttons/a sewing kit/jewelery, a bigger one as a project bag... Seriously, thanks alot, I've never seen these before and now I have lots of ideas running around in my head :D

I think it would be very nice for all my electronics. I am constantly taking a small bag of charger and cabels, docing station, USB sticks... with me to uni and they are always unorganized 🙈 awesome video as always 😊 have a good advent time

My mom made one from scraps of my wedding dress. I'm a short lady and there was plenty of hemming to do. I had a hot pink one for my play costumes growing up and requested it for keeping special things close on my special day. It's lovely to see you again. 😊 Hope you are doing well during this crazy holiday season. Happy holidays Gilbert and Mrs. Dolthalion.

Oh, I love this as a sewing kit bag. If you made a really big one, maybe with only 4 segments, I could see this as a nice way to keep your yarns neat while doing fair isle knitting or something similar.

This would work well for hair accessories as well. Or just as a gift bag, where you fill the compartments with chocolates or other small treats or gifts.

I make crocheted bookmarks and so I would use it to hold all the different beads that I use at the ends. What a great project. It would make a wonderful present. Thanks for sharing and take care.

I enjoyed the sneak guest shot of one of your kitties there! I’ve had an especially small one of these forever. The perfect size for a pair of earrings in each segment. Great for traveling.

I have a bag like this that I picked up at the thrift store more than ten years ago. I use it to put my jewellery in when I travel. When my offspring were small I wanted to make a giant one with roads drawn on it for their toy cars (it could be taken places, opened out and they could play and it would be so easy to tidy up as everything would just be put back on the play mat, the rope pulled up and it could go back in the car), but I never got around to it and now they're all adults so not much point - until they have their own offspring anyway.

That's a nifty idea for using up scraps... and organizing things... and keeping them away from the rabbit who likes to chew on fabric and eat measuring tapes.... I usually use those clear zippered rectangles that sheet sets and blankets come in, because I like being able to see what's in a thing without opening it, but that segmented pouch would be a great way to stash my embroidery floss and maybe the needles for it... and another for trim bits and buttons and things... maybe if it was big enough I could organize my Sharpie collection instead of having them in a plastic box... I've been darning socks while playing D&D over Zoom, but in person I would usually have a sewing or crochet project nearby... also I keep a character journal, partially because I can't remember anything between sessions, partially because if I don't keep my hands busy, I will fall asleep, no matter how interesting the thing is...

The end bit “please come back later no one is here” me every time someone rings or knocks and we aren’t expecting anyone. 😂 that or we get our dog excited and he goes and barks at them (he’s not aggressive but I’m pretty sure he’s scared the crap out of a couple of people cause he’s got a big bark)

I'm tempted to make one to see if I can use it as a small project knitting bag with the knitting notions in the little outside pockets and the yarn/project just chilling in the middle. Like, a pair of socks with just the one skein of yarn type of thing. Either way, it would definitely be great for storing knitting/crochet notions.

how many regular dice sets can this bag hold?
@Dolthalion2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the size and the segments, and the size of the dice! The one that I used for the thumbnail has 6 sets of D10s in, plus a good 20+ loose D10s in the centre.

I Made A Segmented Drawstring Dice Bag... and then filled it with burritos. BURRITOS!? My brain is broken. Clearly. I mean, sure, buttons makes a lot more sense but where's the fun in that? Also, buttons make for terrible snacking.

You could make one out of food-wrap appropriate materials for snacks.
