First time sewer and tried my best to follow your instructions and I think I did reasonably well. You were very clear in your direction and once I figured out what pinning was it made everything easier.

I made your smaller dice bag a while back at the start of the pandemic after I had been sewing masks for a little while. I made this one today after sewing masks for months. Thank you for easy to follow instructions. Once again, I made a thing!

Combined your amazing pattern for the "cross-bottom" bag with the separate drawstring tunnel from "Easy Drawstring Bag by Mister Domestic". Definitely a bit trickier but the result is amazing looking. Made a bag with a beige/brown Lama pattern on the outside, a purple lining, and a black drawstring tunnel. Love it! Your pattern was was got me started in the first place. Thank you, Tiffany!

Thank you! This was very easy. I make a batch of dice bags for our Extra Life charity event. Last year I used a differently tutorial for a round-bottomed back and this one was much quicker and I love how it stands open. You mention a blog in your video with the instructions but I don't see it. I've got a bunch more to make and the paper instructions for reminders as I go would be great. Thank you!

I think you forgot to mention around the 5:30 area that the hamburger half needs to be sewn together. The half fold so that after you finish doing the bottom that the fabric takes a bowl shape.

I fudged around w this pattern a little cause I too wanted pockets! What I did was: How ever deep you want the pocket double that for height and make the length like 18.5 inches (or longer depending on what Seam allowance you want) then fold it in half wrong sides facing out, the. Sew along the one long side and one short side (or half way up the last open side too if your comfortable w that) then flip it inside out so the seams are on the inside! Then tuck the bit of unsewn fabric in and stitch it closed! Then BEFORE YOU SEW the inside of the bag closed sew the pocket tube thing you just made onto the inside fabric by matching the bottom of your tube to just above the ^ point in the cut inside fabric! If you want smaller pockets just measure out how many you want (I usually can fit 4 to 6) and sew the sections down (I usually back stitch over it a couple times but you don’t have to) then follow the pattern as your supposed to by sewing the inside fabric like instructed!!

the gap you turn it inside out from, if you put the gap at the bottom of the bag it will hide the awkward section of the seam better. since its in a less visable spot
@ink5665
@ink5665 4 жыл бұрын
But you need that gap for the draw string, so it's got to go up top, yeah?

I just started Star Wars Destiny. I use a Jango and Boba Fett deck. It snatches up resources like a vacuum. I've never sewn before but now I want to try and make these awesome bags. How many D&D dice will this hold? I am currently using a Crown Royal bag and it's almost full.

@@SYBEX21 I would likely add a lazy pocket to the liner, before attaching the liner to the outside. Lookup how to add an outside pocket to something, and then just do it to the inside. I also have had this question before and I'm noodling another video.

@TheCuteAngelic
@TheCuteAngelic 4 жыл бұрын
BTK No. A male seamstress is not called a tailor, those are different occupations. Both men and women can do tailoring. A man may be called a dressmaker (though this generally refer to those who do garments) A man who sews but do not tailor may also be called a clothier. Other words for a person who sews (that are not based on gender) are sewer, Sewist (sewing artist), sewing enthusiast, textile or fabric artist and maker or crafter.
