The problem with resto shaman is that it's pretty good on all of the easy bosses but does absolutely nothing later in the raid. That makes the overall graph look a lot better than it actually is. Furthermore resto shaman does either passable healing and zero dps or descent dps but really bad healing while all other healers have a lot of passive or relatively free damage (PI, Fire Breath, Holy Fire and of course attacking while healing).

It's difficult to say what is the best. Because in these simulations Demo only gets PI 2 times because of 3 min CD (Nether portal). So it very much depends on the length of the encounter and the specific scenario you're dealing with. You cannot just say X is best for PI. These simulations also show that PI is bad for Arcane which is simply not true.

One of the main reasons why arcane is so good this raid is because their cds line up perfectly on basically all the hard fights (cds for every shield on rasz, cds for every platform on dathea etc) and there is a lot of opportunities for funnel (dathea, kurog, eranog, rasz, broodkeeper if assigned to adds) in this raid, which arcane is extremely good at. So the good performance of the spec is more based on raid design rather than tuning. Its a very difficult spec to play on a lot of the fights tho, so wouldnt be surprised if it falls down a bit on dps rankings once more ppl clear the mythic bosses. You can already kinda see this if u look at arcane's position at 95th percentile rankings (5th on all bosses) and at 70th percentile rankings (11th on all bosses)

This sounds extremely stupid because it can be said about any spec but brew master scales incredibly well with gear. Early on without BiS gear and trinkets, it was sketchy but now everything is so clean and every item upgrade just makes it cleaner.

Check out the overall mythic rankings , shamans gotta have the highest % of 1600 + ez. Shamans also have Astral Shift with a reduced cooldown in talents. With Healing tide totem , as well as ancestral guidance which keeps party up. this is only enhancment spec. Heal also has Earthern Wall that is a def for the whole party. Alot more than one defensive. My main is a hunter on Mal'ganis currently 1900 and can easily say hunter is squishier.

Problem I see with this tier list of tier lists is that you nitpick specific parts without any concerns of the disclaimers those YTbers are making while presenting their tier lists. Perfect exemple would be how you only took the final tally of TLF from MarcelianOnline into consideration without any of their disclaimers.

I feel like Devastation is made explicitly for being a healer offspec. You don't even have to learn much new stuff if you learn Prevo first. Having said that I still enjoy flapping around as a Devoker, it's not hard but feels good.

Moonkin is definitely S tier in high M+. They do insane damage! More overall than any of the S tier specs.. and their utility is some of the best in the game. Tettles face deserves to be in swamp ass just for placing Moonkin in C tier for M+.

Nah, it was DDDD on beta at the time that tier list video was made, in M+ at least. DDDD in M+ and A in raid should at least be an S, but people also hadn't seen that much of the raid then, compared to open PTR weekends for Mythic+.

To me it feels like frost dk, doesn't actually pull great numbers. Maybe with breath, but obliteration aoe is not good, the sims say it's good, but in my experience, iv'e always done way better with basically any other melee class.
