Right?? No need to overcomplicate! Minecraft is pretty dynamic, but structured enough you can set up some pretty rigid procedures. It's honestly a super fun platform to play with AI making

Well there currently doesn't exist an actual "ai" in the world, chatgpt f.ex just has very advanced dialouge options and access to a lot of information, and my ai lacks information, but has even more advanced diolouge options.

Actually, what you call AI is a neural network and algorithms that make the entity do stuff. An AI is an entity that does things depending on their code, whether it comes from a neural network, algorithms, or conditions. ☝️🤓 Sorry, it was too hard to let that stay within me with this need emoji. 😂😅

It is actually possible for Minecraft to beat itself, if it was on a piece of hardware that can handle every chunk and dimension being loaded and is left to it's own devices (without mods and commands), but it's just extremely rare. Go look up the video explaining it cuz I don't remember the channel name at the moment and I'm watching this on my phone... So I can't just go on another tab in the middle of typing this to look up the channel name😅

I could only imagine a future where with more accurate AI, it would be possible to have several other "players", collecting resources and with different objectives, making the open world even more alive. Will it be a distant dream?

you should make it have multipule raycast so it does have to look up and down every time

It does use multiple raycasts actually, however for the sake of performance I had to be restrictive with how many I used, so I prioritized horozontal vision width over vertical.

Is the ai capable of fighting enemies, or are you going to implement that feature in the future? If the ai is able to fight enemies, does each type of mob have to be set individually? Like he runs from warden, or able to defend against zombie? How much hp does the ai have? Guessing the same as a normal trader? Edit: I just stumbled upon this video randomly while searching for minecraft ais on the internet. But I have watched your whole minecraft generations, watched every video in the series actually. I was sad that you couldnt capture your death on stream-total surprise there, thought you did a great job overall- and made the right choice of passing the torch. I did not agree with Leon taking his own life though. Think he should have attempted to face the dragon or gone out fighting somehow.

Maybe if each mob has a level of Danger while the ai keeps his equipment level in mind to know if the equipment he has goes over or its the same it should attempt to fight! However it should also keep track of his hearts and while less hearts should modify the level of danger to prioritize flee to heal by eating! Maybe even prioriteze aninals which food would feed them more

Sorta. Some are compatible with each other, and some aren't. My future packs should all be compatible with each other. You will need to merge resource packs together, which there are tools online for. But a couple of them cannot be merged correctly. Archaeology Overhaul, this AI bot and Dungeon Revamp are compatible with any of my other packs, but Deep Dark Enhanced, Baby Dragon, Update Aquatic 2 and Ocean Monument+ will all have issues with each other. Again, this should no longer be a problem with any of my future packs.
