I made what's possibly the worlds biggest Warhammer bits!

I was able to try out a HUGE resin 3D printer to print me something gigantic - namely Warhammer bits. I think I might have printed some of the biggest bits ever made. I 3D print a space marine helmet and an ultramarine plasma pistol.

This is what happens when kids don't become adults, they just grow bigger. I study architecture and we are a small warhammer militia that just go to town on all the 3d printers, laser cutters and cad-programs in school. Just for fun. Kids with expensive toys. I just recently bought myself a printer on a pre-sale and have had a lot of succeess so far with it. Mostly printing bolt action tanks.

Thanks for printing my plasma pistol design. It was one of the first remixes I had done. There are a few improvements I need to do to the design like improving the space for electronics and adding a better trigger. Seeing it printed in resin is enough to make me order another printer.

@@happybuddyperson hey man I have a bunch of Montana gold. I do use it for 3d prints but not for small minis. Very easy to over spray creating thick layers of paint that kills detail :) but after marcos video I will def revisit them again fo experiment.

Hey. I'm a bit out of topic here, but I just want to say Thank You for your work. I've wanted to get into minis painting for may be about a decade, but was putting it off for dozens of reasons. So now I finally got into it not so long time ago, got a starter set from reaper bones and I'm on a 3rd mini now. Hey guys, it's still a relatively small printer, you know... I was able to see really big one where you can just step right in! It is mostly used for huge 3D signs and props like a huge bull sticking through a wall or a coke bottle. The technology is slightly different though, it uses a resin gel that is printed layer by layer and is instantly cured by a UV led light follows the print nozzles. So, if you play with that thing you can probably print an entire space marine suit in one go!

You should watch some of Adam Savage's videos on painting and weathering nerf guns! It is just a few more easy steps that bump up a prop like your plasma pistol up to a 10! Your awesome, thank you for being you!
