I know it's hard to do But if you try you will get it I know I'm a stranger but if you want to hang out we can to help you go out 🙂

Nah see that's going out for the sake of going out, rather than for the sorta thing I was talking about in the video. I gotta think of actual things to _do_ if that makes sense. Things that are a bit more purposeful than just going for a walk etc.

@@DestroyerMariko I understand I guess you need to find something I'm not sure of that because I have the same problem I'm sorry I wasn't up to that part

It's tricky for sure! x_x I dunno how the rest of the world seems to just do it all.

Hey! I'm glad to hear you're feeling better! You definitely look much better, I hope you find the band you're looking for! You're last video about Facebook and Australia was on point! But I almost forgot to clock back in for work, thank goodness it was on the day we don't do production 😅. But whatever you do, whether in a band or solo you'll be amazing! As far as depression goes, my mom suffered from that, I didn't know anything about it and would always approach it as her just being angry all the time. I wish i knew what I know now back then... I would have been a better support system for my mom. Even my ex wife suffered from it and I didn't understand. But after reading up on it and learning more from my youngest child's mother I definitely know how to better handle and approach it. Here I go rambling, sorry lol. I don't know what to suggest for an outdoor activity, I was always a homebody lol. But when I did decide to get out , I'd go to the museum, restaurant, or to the movie theater. But i do hope you find something fun and exciting that makes you want to go out more. But I'm heading back to sleep before I have to get up in 2 hours lol. Stay safe as always, and have a wonderful day!

Thanks so much! ^_^ Lol I'm glad I didn't ruin your work haha. And yeah helping people with depression can be really tricky, and it's easy to forget that we as the general public didn't know so much about it a decade or so ago. Hindsight is always so convenient. The first time I was depressed, I didn't even know depression was a thing so I never got diagnosed or treated for it! Seems so obvious now. But yeah so it's good that we learned about it, but we should also be kind to ourselves for what we didn't know in the past too :)

I have a few suggestions. Maybe a degree for something you want to learn or practice. Or just one class like for yoga/electronics/Japanese language/ poetry class or whatever else. A helpful certificate like for home care or nursing, or those things that don't require a degree. Going to a bar for some mixed drinks, attending a ren fair, classical music performances, sporting events, martial arts, tai chi, pottery, "groups" if you have them there (a place where mentally ill people gather to socialize.)

Oh noooo no more study for me, I spent way too long dropping out of courses and I already have a Masters! A short course makes more sense, just wouldn't know what to sign up to, have already tried all the ones that seemed interesting in my local area lol. As for home care and nursing etc, I'm not into personal care type work, particularly since I've already grown up with a disabled sibling! I also don't drink alcohol so if I'm going to a bar, there HAS to be music I'm into. And yeah not into those other suggestions, especially not sport, and I'm also not keen on intentionally mingling with other mentally ill people, I tend not to find groups like that relatable actually. Martial arts is something I used to enjoy, but not so much these days, I'm too small. I'd be better off doing dance, but none of the styles I like are in my local area so chances of me sticking to it are very low :(

@@DestroyerMariko I understand how things can become mundane and monotonous. Maybe you just need a little adventure like to Japan or a nicely furnished hotel where you can be alone a few days writing music.
@DestroyerMariko3 жыл бұрын
Sooo you're aware there's a pandemic going on yeah? 😅 Ain't gonna be going to Japan for a looong time, Australia's borders are closed in both directions except for returning Aussies, New Zealanders when they're not having an outbreak, and the occasional celebrity or sportspeople. As for getting a hotel to write music, that's impractical lol, would make more sense to rent a studio except for $$$ and me not being someone who works like that.

@@DestroyerMariko I don't know, I haven't watched the news in a few months. I was called three weeks ago and told my vaccine would be ready soon. I didn't mean rent into a hotel, I meant to get away for a few days. But if it isn't conducive to your writing, then nevermind.
