*HOW TO SPOT A MARKIFAKER:* Hover your cursor over the name next to the Warfstache icon. It'll pop up a little info window showing, among other things, how many subscribers that user has and whether you're subscribed to them. If you're subscribed to Markiplier's channel and the info window says you're not subscribed that that user, it's a Markifaker. If you aren't...first, *why not?* but secondly, look at how many subscribers they have; if they don't have 7,000,000+, it's a Markifaker. You can also check the URL that pops up in the corner. If the user name isn't "MarkiplierGAME," then...you guessed it, Markifaker.

3 ways to tell if it is a scammer: 1) Most of the words in scammer comments are *bolded* , mainly so that they stand out to a bigger audience and it grabs people's attention. 2) For the most part, in a scammer comment, the first letter of each word will be capitalized. 3) If you click on the scammer's name, in this case, "Markiplier", then it will pop up with no videos and no recent activity.

Here's an easy trick! CHANGE YOUR ICON EVERY HOUR FOR 12 STRAIGHT HOURS. After that change your icon daily. This will make it tough for the bots to keep up. OR you can use a propane powered bot fighting system. That'll burn all those scammers right off the internet.

Hank Hill Honestly, im not sure why people dont just click on the posters' username. That sends you to thier profile page. You are going to easily tell if the post is genuine or not if they have all of the correct videos uploaded and a large enough amount of subscribers. It is things like these comment scams that make me wonder why they dont teach internet safety better in schools. Usually you have to fall victim to something like a scam or virus infested download before you know fully about them. Like Mark said though, it is best just to avoid anything that mentions giving away anything for free. Nothing is truely free.

Markiplier Just use the KZbin blacklist system and block certain terms like "free" or "points" or simply "http." That should fix it. While you're at it, you should crack down on other spammers and block "sub" "channel" and "check."
