Thanks for your update, your post is perfect timing I decided to leave my job as it wasn't a good fit for me. I'll now concentrate on what really matters to me by assigning the right time and effort to rebalance my priorities to regain my self-discipline.👊

Good to see you back on KZbin!!! I have personally benefitted from content you have done, mainly on Instagram, but doesnt matter the platform i guess. I left the military in 2013, struggled alot without really realising to be honest. Your content has helped massively, and i truly believe we spread the word there are so many ex forces, don't have to be special forces, who really struggle in everyday life! Thanks

Hi simon, thanks for your explanation and transparency. I get it. I face the same challenges each day/week. My needs and challenges that I'd like to see on the KZbin Channel are - 1. Having the self-discipline to stick to my planned and prioritised daily routine, i.e. to stop one activity and start the next at the allocated time and not to be sucked in to staying on the same activity for the whole day. I get that one has to be focused but the day needs its exercise, its planning and review and its relaxation built in. I'm ignoring these. 2. It boils down to the 'Why' am I doing this? and to focussing on the process. How do we make that 'Why' big enough? Cheers and look forward to the next video.

Hi Simon, Thank you for taking the time to explain and connect even when you realise it’s best not get sucked into the ‘noise’. Your content is always good 😊. Good luck to you in all your ventures!

Had to take a few months off too Simon hence not been on the group calls recently. Needed a full reset after doing the TNE course and to let the body and mind heal. Soldier on.

Hey Simon, would love to see a “day in the life” video - your morning routine/ daily routine and what you usually cook/eat for you meals. Love the content 🦾

Sounds like a very sensible “pause”, reflect and evaluate. Look forward to some more content.

Totally logical approach. Not related to new content ideas but my feedback on your existing content is that it's spot on and I personally like the frequent science/academic angles you introduce. Re podcasts, check out Nick Grainge from Elite Outdoor Fitness, good friend of mine and a top chap 👍
