I’m listening to your words carefully and your ideas are well thought out. However being well thought out doesn’t necessarily match the market. You’re on trail with several other KZbinrs marching the same path, as I’m sure you are well aware. Interestingly enough, two of them seem to be more of a dual marketing campaign Under the guise of unique angles, yet, I feel like I’m being sold vaporware under a very intentional marketing gimmick. Now we’re seeing new KZbin channels popping up that are nothing more than brand ambassadors for the aforementioned KZbin formulas for lack of a better word. Ironically, they compare products, but the ones they’re affiliated with always win and conveniently there’s a link in the description for the convenience of the viewer. Wink wink! Given that it’s a matter of time before it runs its course. On the other hand you appear to be coming to the market with the intention of creating or perhaps being instrumental in new ideas. I like the concept of building products around solving problems, but I also would want to see techniques designed to solve a multitude of problems. You had the creator of system one, now CSI, on your podcast not so long ago and I think there’s some very important lessons to be learned from his words. I’m sure you’ve considered his teachings. You strike me as so much more than what I would call in infomercials on KZbin and I do hope you find the sweet spot to reach the market.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts-it means a lot. You brought up some great points. I completely agree with you-it’s definitely strange how some channels are trying to manipulate the market by doing this. It’s an interesting ploy, and it seems like a lot of people are in on it, which is leading to a lot of misinformation being put out there. Unfortunately, many viewers are being misled by what’s being presented as honest comparisons or advice. That said, I truly believe the truth always comes out. Over time, people will start to see these tactics for what they really are, and those who rely on misleading strategies will burn out. Viewers are smarter than they’re given credit for, and they won’t buy into something that doesn’t add real value. This is exactly why I’m focused on being transparent and bringing something genuine to the table. Authenticity and honesty will always win in the long run. Showing the true behind the scenes is also something these other channels cannot do because they don't have the true access to this type of stuff. The lessons from my podcast with Tom really stuck with me, too. His focus on keeping things simple and solving problems is exactly what I try to do with my content and products. I want to share tools and techniques that are easy to use and solve lots of different issues, not just one or two. There will be more with Tom in the very near future. Your feedback is super encouraging and reminds me to keep improving. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!

The life lessons you are sharing with your kids are the things that kids today don't really get a chance to experience. We had to learn it early but the younger generation is craving this. Great stuff!

LMAO! I love that "when I saw how the sausage was made" Best analogy I've heard!
@joeschmoe69085 күн бұрын
The phrase has been around for approx 100 years. It specifically means that the way things are done behind the scenes is often unpleasant and you wouldn't want to see it. If you saw all the ingredients in sausage you might not care to eat it. People today sometimes use the phrase without the negative connotation.

My current go to for one step polishes is P&S Rehab. Performs better than the more popular spray polishes on the market currently. I pair it with a Buff and Shine maroon, blueberry, or a Rupes intermediate.

It's funny, Chemical Guys is what got me excited about detailing. I had every Chemical Guys product in my garage but over time, I never seemed to get the same results they did. Jet Seal never lasted but it was marketed as this crazy good sealant. Today, I haven't bought any of their products in almost a decade but their marketing and videos are what got me into detailing.

They make an anti static spray for clothes - keeps pants legs from clinging to socks, for example. But you can’t spray that stuff on a screen or interior. But, that concept, would own the marketplace.

Jimbo, you arent lying about "BEHIND THE SCENES" bs! I took a promotion years back, then being behind the scenes i saw all the Bull💩. It was the worst thing i could have ever done honestly. It made me view things a lot differently. Im sure its no different in any industry. On your polish, my take has no impact, why not try to do something with CSI beings he really broke the mold in abrasives.. anyway, lovin Jimbo's line thus far. Btw, PLEASE DONT BECOME ANOTHER CHEMICAL GUYS and bring in 40Million products! KIS, Keep It Simple!! 💯

Please remember this … the brand isn’t your look or the products. It’s your character and the character of your products. Labels and design are window dressing. What’s inside of you and your products is what matters. If your integrity doesn’t match that of your products, your personal brand and your commercial brand will suffer. If you’re service minded first, you won’t have to be a salesman.

I ve always hated “the best” label , bc if you 10x the cost of the ingredients in the product, would it be better? I get you would/ could out price yourself. But is the best price point dependent Looking fwd to the content. Congrats on putting yourself out there w/ building your own brand.

A niche market is reaching out to government agencies for a one-step soap to clean safety signs. Right now they're using pump sprayers and brushes. A super soap like you have what make the process quicker and save taxpayers.

Wanna be a total game changer in the marketplace? Make an interior cleaner that’s absolutely static free. So many clean well, but cloth fibers (even microfiber) as left behind. Invent that, leave NO lint behind, especially touch screens, and you’ll make millions.
@autodetailingpodcast5 күн бұрын
Have you tried this? amzn.to/3DJURbQ It’s packed with anti static properties. Leaves no shine behind and doesn’t streak on nav screens.
@RJ-nf3jm5 күн бұрын
@ thank you, I will try it. I’ve been using P&S Interior Cleaner. I like it very much. No streaking and smells good. Touch screens are just a pain as is piano black trim. It’s so impractical for vehicles around the most used areas. I wish they’d stop making it.

@@autodetailingpodcastWhen we started on the late 70s washing my dad's and grandpa's cars all we had was dishwash soap and JCPENNEY towels to dry them. Then to wax was Simoniz and Turtle Wax. On 1993 Rinseless started with Quick & Easy Wash, and then years later, Optimum started with ONR. On the 80s also started Meguiars, Menzerna and 90s Griot's Garage, then The Rag Company with microfiber towels and Kl!n towels

Detailing has been a passion of mine. It's amazing how much products have revolutionized in the last 20-25 years. I even had friends who would complain because I wanted my car to be clean 😆. I remember stumbling upon your channel back in the early days but I got sidetracked with my corporate job, I strayed away from detailing for a while. Happy I found your channel again in 2020, and I definitely love tuning in. Always enjoyed the torture tests!

Many people trusted the Home Shopping Network until it ran its course. This channel operates at an intellectual level, not at an influencer level, so at least you diverging your entertainment to some point
