I started playing guilty gear strive about a month after it released. I avoided I-No at first due to her rep for being a difficult character to play. Once I decided to give her a shot it actually felt like I-No picked me...I'm by no means great at the game, but I've managed to get to floor 8 with her playing a few days a week, and watching videos like this are actually starting to make a bit of sense to me (before it sounded like a totally different language lol) Anyways I'm really inspired by how you play man and I really appreciate the amount of work you put into your content and your main character!! This was a cool video to watch, and I’m happy to see more content that isn’t a speed run to celestial. Those types of videos are done well, but I prefer videos that have either the excitement of high level play or an educational angle to share your expertise with viewers who want to improve. Speaking of, I didn’t want to go asking if you were going to make a guide for a character you don’t like to play, but seeing your Jack ‘O speed run video gave me hope that you like playing her enough that maybe you’d be willing to make some content featuring her gameplay? If you don’t actually like playing Jack a lot then no pressure. First and foremost I like to watch content where you’re having fun

I agree. I don’t think she’s the “top 5” but she feels much more powerful in this patch for sure. As an I-no main, I really appreciate the quality of life changes.

I remember asking for 2K-2D buffs and more air speed in the Strive survey bc more knockdowns and better Oki would just easily make I-no better and now they delivered and like, for sure this character is kinda nutty now [but like, higher mid tier nutty lol]. From the outside the patch notes that really confused me were Anji's tbh. It really feels like he has a gameplan and they needed to find like 1 big way to improve it, or a couple small ways. The Fujin changes they put in, although they look wacky and fun for Anji players, seemed a little sloppy given the direction the game seems to want to go. I was really hoping they'd do things like make fujin safe on block, buff his butterfly.

Nah other than what’s in the description and my mentions in the advance ino offense guide. I’m still debating what setups I want to use.. so may take a bit for something like that. (I’m thinking manually timed setups might still be better actually, in most cases)

Top Tier of my Hearth , why is my first guilty gear, and is the character i`m most comfy with atm , also she smacks opponents with the Guitar fking dope ;D Overall all chars feel kinda good, except Potemkin, don`t like that clunky Grabbler ( nago have the sashes also he is cool so it s good) ;D

So after 3 days of playing I-no, I see why I hate fighting her. You kinda just get to that midrange and roll the dice on hover dashing in, chemical love, or stroke the big tree. Then the rest is kinda Leo-ish. Just vortex/setplay to the w. As of now, I've put my attention on Goldlewis. Been playing him for the past 24 hours, and man... is that dude actually just ballistic fun in his decent matchups. Also, F Axl. I don't think I play a single character I actually like fighting Axl with. Chipp is my go to if I really want resulting wins, but it's rare I take the matchup anymore. Every now and then at 4 a.m. in the West Coast PS4 region, there is literally only 5 people playing including myself. So, I take the plunge and fight the Axl player vs not playing the game at all or labbing.

@@Diaphone love your ino videos. Your my favorite Ino player. Been playing fg games for a few years, do you have a source for I-no BNB's? I've been using two or three but I want to dig into the more specific ones that include corner tech, etc.

So how does this work....I just started playing GG but have played fighting games since the 1st street fighter and MK. Do I complain about how bad my main is(Axl)and how all other characters are OP. With any luck maybe get other characters nerfed to the ground while I get all them buffs.... hahaha jk but if twitch chat had its way.

Nah, on lower floors she is still horrible. Millia is just better version of her, can't go in against people like Ram. 25 hours on I-No, couldn't get out of floor 7. Switched to Millia for 2 hours without practicing more than 10 minutes and I'm on floor 9. I'm either doing something wrong or I-No is still just bad unless you are pro/semi-pro.
