Lots of fans of the original game are concerned because Deck Nine is now making Life is Strange games instead of Don't Nod. They are concerned that Deck Nine will not treat Max and Chloe from the original game with the respect they deserve. Many fans who ship those two together were hoping to see them happily together in this game, I guess. I say, let's see where this goes! I loved the first two chapters and it felt so good to fall back into the world of Max Caulfield. Maybe I can even update my profile picture now, lol.

I'm not sure if you'll read this but if you're enjoying double exposure you should definitely play the first life is strange game. I don't have double exposure yet but you said there are some major twists that make you put the game down.. if you enjoy that, DEFINITELY get the first game

@@prasanthraonilapu8809 LIS2 is a hit or miss for people. It's either their favorite installment in the series or they think it's bad. LIS3 is usually agreed to be the worst game in the series.

I really enjoyed LiS and Before the storm back when i played them (even though i recognize the writing isnt really as good as i thought it was, though BtS was better than the first one IMO). I tried streaming LiS 2 a few years ago but found it a bit too slow paced for that and i never ended up finishing it. And i didnt get to play the last game, forget what it was called. But this one looks interesting, the animation and visuals are certainly better than the first couple entries.

I have played them all except Life Is Strange 2, I didn't get the Ultimate edition so I haven't gotten to play DE yet. I can't wait to see what happens at the end of Chapter 2 after hearing all the hype about it.

Hows the performance? If youre on PC

I am! I was playing on a pre-release build, but I still didn't have any major performance issues. RTX 3060, Intel i7-11700F, 1080p with a mixture of High/Cinematic settings. Only thing on Medium was shadows. I got 60 FPS a majority of the time with only a couple of FPS drops during some scene transitions and effects sequences.

@@Niosai Ok thats rad tbh! It feels so nice that you got more accesible specs(opposed to most youtubers). Im pretty close too, with an i5 12400F and a 4060. Thanks man! Cant wait for the game to fully release, hopefully without denuvo performance problems

The devs for life is strange are notorious for cramming in as much "progressive" ideology into their games. For the most part it doesn't ruin the immersion or game play but it is annoying as hell
