I have found myself embroiled in the royal circle drama for some time now, and I must admit that my initial perception of Meghan Markle was positive. However, I have come to realize that there is much more to her character than meets the eye, and unfortunately, it is not for the better. Allow me to elaborate on some concerning incidents that have raised doubts in my mind. One incident that struck me was when Meghan Markle attended a reading with children from underprivileged backgrounds, many of whom were fatherless. While this initially seemed like a noble gesture, she arrived wearing an expensive dress and read a book that portrayed her deep affection for her own father. This choice of attire and book seemed insensitive and self-serving, raising questions about her true intentions. Another incident that deeply troubled me was when she reportedly ousted grieving families of Texas shooting victims from the cemetery in order to stage a photo opportunity of herself placing flowers on a grave. This occurred while her own father was battling illness in the hospital. Such behavior is callous and lacks empathy. Furthermore, I find it contradictory that Meghan Markle frequently complains about her desire for privacy, yet she willingly invited Netflix to document her life. Additionally, there have been instances where she has been accused of contacting the paparazzi for personal gain. These actions raise concerns about her authenticity and the consistency of her values. I must also express pity for Prince Harry, although he too has shown questionable judgment. As a young adult, he dressed up as a Nazi, which was deeply offensive and inappropriate. Moreover, there have been instances where his actions have caused his brother to miss important moments, such as the Queen's final moments.

All the colors, stripes, spots, plaid, etc. I had to read it to them a million times. This book is aimed at adults, to pull at heartstrings. You know, the way Meghan Markle pulls at her father's heartstrings when she wants her letter to him published (written in ridiculous flouncy handwriting, for historical purposes, of course). And the way she honors and respects Harry's relationship with his own father - destroyed because of her. How long before she ruins the relationship between Prince Henry IX and his surrogate son?

@@plum7t I AM a grown woman, with many decades of experience and perspective to draw from. I, like millions of others around the world, easily identify Markle for what she is. A fraud. She has no respect for others' relationships, certainly not between fathers and children, nor fathers and sons, in particular, Harry and his father. Their relationship was functional before he met her, and now it is nonexistent - but for the abuse Henry hurls at his father, brother, stepmother, the deceased Queen's entire family and institution. Her relationship with her own father mirrors that malignant, manipulative tactic, so typical of narcissists. So, tell me, *what* relationship experience does she bring to the table when instructing other people how to bond with their fathers - or sons? Neither of them knows a darn thing about that. They are both fundamentally destructive and emotionally selfish and cruel. That you fail to see that indicates a major blind spot in your own judgement. From what I've seen of them, Harry and Meghan seem like really nice and intelligent people, and I can relate to her so much. If no one has read the book up until now then why are they saying it sucks. The children book can get rid of discrimination based on your skin color. It could have also been written because Meghan child is mixed race; she felt that there wasnt enough diversity shown in children's boo, so she went and made her own. @hello hi the world and you need to get off this racist agenda and rants...besides wanting to teach the children ( indoctrinate). So let’s get this straight here. Meghan is 30% black, with a mixed race mother. She is primarily Irish . She looks white and grew up privileged and spoiled...all private schools and wasn’t lacking i any way. Meghan never embraced her black roots...she ignored them. Their children is all of about 15% black....they are white basically and will grow up privileged, not for want. The boo sucks in regards off using their royal status, it is not a children’s book....not a story meant for children with the imagination and learning that provokes a child’s mind. It is a story about Meghan, through Meghan’s eyes and it doesn’t rhyme and uses words children do not identify with. As all say...it should have never had made it to the publisher. Enough with the race card and shame on you or anyone for provoking it. The world is done with this false ideology. FYI children are not born racist and don’t look at children in that light...it’s radicalized adults ( aka BLM , CRT, Teacher’s, and bad parents ) that breed the hate.
@Soundless_life3 жыл бұрын
@@CarriUSA I wasn't saying anything about the world being racist. Also Meghan and her child (I don't remember his name) have been discriminated against, just for being partially black. It is also baseless of you to say that the book is wrong because it allows inclusion with many different races. Children are not born racist, but might feel left out if the only children's book only mentions being fully white and fully black instead mixed. I also think that you're the one bringing racism into action, because all I mentioned was how it's a good thing that a children's book is addressing different races. I am also assuming that you haven't read the book, so you can't judge the book (even if you watch someone review it) until you've read it yourself. I'm not sticking up for Meghan in any way, I'm not that involved with the royal family in general, so when I wrote my comment it had nothing to do Meghans position in society. I just happend to like the thought of a children's book being more inclusive to allow society to be more oppen for mixed kids.

I'm happy that she wrote this book, alot of media has a very negative view on fathers, just look at The Simpsons, we've had years of negative views on fathers that it's normalised to a dangerous degree. The Simpsons isn't really that bad a show. Yes, homer screws up as a father a lot, but the show acknowledges this, and the jokes are on him, not on anybody expecting him to be a more present or loving father. There are episodes where he really does become a better father - but being episodic, the show usually returns it's characters back to square one after the episode. Granted, the more recent episodes aren't as good, but it's not a terribly show and I don't think it promotes bad parenting or toxic masculinity. Maybe you haven't actually seen the show, but I have... it's really not as bad as "woke" people make it out to be now.

Isn't The Simpsons a satire of american culture and "tipical american families"?
@killitwithfire53773 жыл бұрын
I mean I agree, but the simpsons specifically was a parody of classic american sitcoms where the father was the wise head of the house and everyone, including his wife, looked up to him. The simpsons recreated that idealized family structure in a more grim way. Of course, this context is lost to time and differences in cultures and the simpsons now has helped create this very negative stereotype of a father

As a children's illustrator and designer I totally agree with you! When I came across all those other terrible reviews of Meghan Markle's I didn't pay much attention because media loves to slander Meghan no matter what she does. The only point I would add that those unfortunate reviews mention and I kinda agree with, is that the book doesn't seem to be catered to a specific market? Like you said, it's a poem that doesn't have much of a narrative, so I do find it hard for it to cater to small children. I believe it would've been more successful if it was catered to parents instead.

Hypothetically if the Queen should decide to revoke their title it would take an Act of Parliament ... The Titles Deprivation Act 1917 (which would be unprecedented) as it has not been applied in 104 years. Harry's title of Prince cannot be removed as he was born a Prince and it is his birthright. Should Harry and Meghan ever find themselves stripped of their title of Duke and Duchess, then they would automatically be known as Prince Harry and Princess Meghan of Wales, which is a more elevated and more desired title than Duke and Duchess.

@@shirleygravesande5421 Ok. But, they affirmed that they wanted to renounce their royal titles and the obligations that came with it. So they did, they no longer represent the british monarchy. @shirleygravesande54213 жыл бұрын
@@Annapaz25 You mean Duchess of Sussex. Catherine Prince William's wife is the Duchess of Cambridge. Meghan is not using the Duchess of Sussex as a Pen Name. The Duchess of Sussex is her legal name gained on her marriage to Prince Harrry. Another thing is they (and I use they because her and Harry is a partnership - husband and wife) have not divorced themselves from the Royal family. They have stepped down from carrying out Royal duties. I don't know if you have an understanding or some insight in how the Royal dynasty works which is so complicated due to various rules and proclamations? It's really hard to get ones head around it. Being born Royal and grandson to the Queen and son of the next King of the United Kingdom, Harry does not have a 'standard' last name (surname) as you or I. Harry's full name on all legal documents is Henry Charles Albert David - Duke of Sussex Meghan as his wife is Rachel Meghan - Duchess of Sussex. Whether people like it or not Meghan Duchess of Sussex is her official legal name and listed on her marriage certificate and on her/their children's birth certificate.Their occupation is legally and officially listed as Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom. What the Queen has stipulated is that Harry and Meghan give an undertaking not to use HRH (Her/His Royal Highnesses)in front of their given names so they are to be referred to as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex but they should not be referred to as His/Her Royal Highness. Harry have stated on many occasions that when he is engaging with others to call him just Harry and not Prince Harry but he will always be a Prince, he was born a Prince and it's his birthright and cannot be removed. Hope I am making sense in my explanation.🤔

She's had a few scandals, like mistreating her workers in 2018. I can't say for certain who she is in real life.

@@lordfreerealestate8302 I never heard about that but I think she gets more hate then she deserves

I like her as well. I think there is too much hate in this world and media just finds convenient targets. It is all so sad to watch. If people were so critical for their own behaviour and flaws and so eager to change we would live in a real loving place!

@@isabellaearnhardt6380 Correct. The palace and the men in grey suits are up to no good and are 'in bed' with the media. The palace/Firm is now stating that this allegation of bullying was brought to HR's attention in 2018. However they only decide a few days before the Oprah Winfrey interview that they need to look into the complaint that Megham alledgedly caused distress to her staff which could amount to bullying. One of the complaint is that she tended to send email instructions to her staff at 5am!!👀 In my job I send emails late at night or early in the mornings but not with an expectation that I receive a response before the official time that the person/s commences their working day. Recent information in the press is that the investigation due to be completed in the next few weeks has been adjourned until 2022. They are fishing for false information but I gather Meghan has top legal representation holding them to account.

The media has gone too far this time. They are judging a book that is so empowering and inspiring with such beautiful paintings. Like, honestly. Why on earth are they mad at such a great book?!?

It's because it's Meghan Markle who wrote it and the media for some reason has a hate boner for her.

It's amazing to me that Meghan Markle gets so much hate for publishing a "boring" book whereas people who break actual laws and moral codes get defended and celebrated.

Purchased this book, against my better judgement, because of your review. My godchildren hated it, hated the 'story' and most of all hated the imags. Born in Ireland to African parents. Total waste of money, given to a charity shop.

Honestly, I don’t understand these ppls obsession. She didn’t do anything to them and then she’s pretty much been like ok, fine you don’t like me, I’ll leave and do my own thing and even that’s not ok for them

That's what i don't get too! Aparently Charles was planning to slim down the monarchy too, so they would stop to be royals anyway. Leaving the royal family was a logocal decision
