The show is pretty good and has a strong antifascism and environmentalist messages. Ollie is a pretty important character for the plot even if he's not in every episode. Him being trans is not directly discussed, but since the show follows it's characters since they are kids until adulthood you can tell he's trans. Besides the creator confirmed him as trans in an interview.
