What a cute little vehicles. In Rotterdam, the Netherlands there has been an autonomous vehicle called "parkshuttle" since 1999. They are currently testing the third generation. These however do not drive on the public road but a interesting project nevertheless.

I’m quite interested what would happen if a human driver and an autonomous vehicle had an accident. I’m not aware of any cases in Korea, and I’m not even sure if there are laws for it. I agree that the safety of the passengers and other drivers should be the No. 1 priority.

This goes pretty slow though i'm sure it would be harder to automate stuff at a normal speed like a bus goes as it would need to have fast reaction time for safety and also account of stuff like pot holes in the road and idoits jaywalking.

Using technology to discover truth is the ultimate reason to subscribe. We don't need another tech presenter... we need a tech Robin Hood. I rode in a very similar, if not the same companies vehicle in Yellowstone National park in the US, it was pretty much the same, but the AI had a bit of difficulty in parking lots, with all the cars moving around it, and the safety officer had to use a joystick like once, but that was 2 years ago so I’m sure they have improved since then

"Probably" better? Lol. Although South Korea ranks eighth worldwide in total trade, working conditions in South Korea are unsatisfactory. South Korean workers work 44.6 h per week on average, higher than the number of average weekly working hours (32.8) in OECD member nations. There's also an abundance of depression, exploitation... Wow, this is the first time I saw Lotte getting involved in transport and or electronics. I usually know them by their food products. 4:32 I'm glad that someone figured out a way to do this, I always kinda thought that maybe we can mitigate car accidents from those auto drive modes seen from electronic vehicles by giving them a pre set tracks that they can follow and even perhaps maybe drive in a single row of vehicles (with proper braking distance and other safety factors added in etc) in the same consistent speed. I mean just look at the game City Skylines, you can create a line of route for the Bus to follow there. I can't see why we couldn't implement the same idea in real life. And now seeing this in action just makes my hopes up that we are now gonna have an improved mode of transport with the help of Autonomous vehicles.

Maybe the boredom has something to do with it moving at the speed of a semi paralaysed slug. The only benefit of this vehicle seems to be that it shelters travellers from the elements. Hence, this system could easily be outclassed by a pair of shoes and an umbrella. Shorter journey time, cheaper, and still protected from the weather.

Having a remote controlled bus sounds like an easy way for hackers to mess with or even kidnap a group of people, plus when theres no safety operator on board how will it know if someone didn't pay? Will it use some sort of face recognition to see how many people entered? If it does do that, does that mean someone could get on, not pay, and refuse to get off to cause the others to be late?
