@@MegaLag I think a pretty German thing you could've done would've been to print out letters explaining your situation about your lost keys, tell them that if they have your keys they should call you and put them in the post box of all the residents that live in the apartment you thought your airtags were in :)

@@chgeri2232 but please add in a reward - people may refuse to take the reward "because they found the key in a bush and it is no big deal to call a tourist and sending it by mail" (may or may not be a lie, but go a long happily to get the airtag back), but offering a reward makes it sound more legit. One trick in more preparation would be to add a plushie (with a small, but clear modification to make it unique) and say that the plushie has meaning to you (which it has - it made a trip trough germany and thus story). The plushie is worthless to anyone but you, so even if the "car key" got "lost", you could play happy that you got your plushie and airtag back and send over a bottle of wine/beer/candy as a thanks in return. Also adding a file "if found return to ... or contact ..." to the USB-Stick could help.

@@chaschuky999 how the hell is it undersubbed... He made 1 video, it's been 3 weeks, and he got 1.6K subs. That is VERY good for a completely new KZbinr. His production quality is good and his execution was great, this is EXACTLY how much reward he should get. I think after seeing Dream's ridiculous levels of growth, people started thinking that KZbinrs just "suddenly" get tens of thousands of subs per week.. That's not how it works unless it's some kind of extremely viral and popular subject (for example, short Minecraft videos).

Be careful with the expired ID. some stuff like document ID don't change on a renewal, and have to be requested to change.

I thought the same thing. Some countries ask you to list all "lost and stolen" identification documents as part of the migration process (even as a tourist). Lying on that form could end in a surprise. Some countries make it scaringly easy to exchange ID documents. (let alone countries that do not regularly issue ID to its own citizens like england/wales/scotland - which is funny when all foreigners need ID, but citizens do not. America is also odd in that regard, as the typical ID is a drivers license [which not everybody has], which may or may not contain nationality [depending in state])

when I visited Germany I feel in love with just how nice everyone is there. I worked at a hotel back in the US. When I came back to work. A Germany couple came stay one night. I mention how I just visited Germany a month ago. They were so happy that I got to visit. They came back later that night towards the end of my shift and bought me Germany beer from Bevmo that they said is extremely popular in Germany.
