Back when I was a kid, we had a normal Rubiks cube, and I scrambled it, and attempted to solve it. I did eventually solve it, but it took me an absurd amount of time. I can't even guess how long, since I took many attempts and also always gave up rather quick (I was very young, after all). After I did eventually get it done, I had enough of that for probably a lifetime. How a human mind can even comprehend and solve something like THIS here, is utterly astounding to me!

There has to be some kind of method or algorithm for solving this. After all there is an algorithm for solving the 3 X 3 X 3 Rubik's cube. I suspect that algorithm can be extended to solve larger cubes.

THAT is incredibly impressive!! I was working along with you trying to extrapolate how each move would be done; however, I'm not so sure I would be able to get it all done. My best is 4x4x4 a long time ago. I was a prop in an Engineers scavenger hunt back in university in 1982. The team that found me (one guy on my floor in residence) were the only team to find someone who could do that cube as it had just come out a short time before so I got some love for that skill. LOL

I can promise you that i’m easily amongst the stupidest persons you could possibly ever meet. I’m someone who forgot he had mouthwash in his mouth… multiple times. And even left the house before realizing. But still, i would be able to solve this. Would take me a lot of time, but i would eventually do it. If you really commit to learn how cubing works, it would shock you to realize how easy this is. You need to memorize something like 6 or 7 algorithms… and that’s it. The real skill is being able to spot the pieces and instantly know what algorithm to apply, but we’ll leave that to the pros. Once you learn to do the 7x7x7 (once again, believe a stupid guy like me: it really isn’t difficult at all) you can solve every odd-sized cube above that. You can trust my words… if i can do all of that, while being an absolute idiot, anyone definitely can do the same.

Interesting video but isn't technically the largest Rubik's Cube it is a non branded Rubik's Cube so it is a puzzle cube plus the world's largest Rubik's type puzzle is actually a 3 by 3 cube that is much bigger than the one shown in the video

I used to think there was skill involved in this but I know someone with the IQ of a turnip who can do the normal one in minutes so it's basically a mechanical algorithm you follow and eventually it gets resolved. I assume the bigger it is the longer and more complex that algorithm is. But, hours of fun though, until your wrists decide they've had enough but your brain wants to keep going.
