The music they recorded is not copyrighted. You can perform the sheet music for Beethoven’s and Mozart’s pieces without trouble. The trouble is the orchestras that record the music will usually put a copyright on the recording. Ludwig and Schlatt creating their own recordings and not putting a copyright on it removes any risk of a copyright claim.
