Ok, this is ✨ STUNNING ✨ I admit, when I saw you putting the blue over the orange I got a wee bit nervous but no, excellent decision because she GLOWS. Brilliant work as always, but this one was most assuredly worth the risk. We put a bit of ourselves in every painting, and their purpose goes beyond their value, materials, and reception. I don't play video games but even I was so intrigued by the character design for this lady that I had her picture downloaded off the internet just to marvel at the creativity of human minds. Seeing it recreated in the form of traditional art is just immensely satisfying. I would like to have seen the orange pass from the background in full. I know the phase where you want to try something drastic, but it’s not easily undone on an actual painting. Your face section is clearly the winner here. I would have done a more darker blue vignetting from the outside coming in and use a sort of reverse keylighting from the back with the fire colors.

This is such a great painting. Every time I see you paint something large it makes me want to try it too. I notice that when I work on larger pieces and then go back to making smaller pieces, my technical skills improve. My larger drawings might not look great or be out of proportions but my smaller drawings really improve. Thank you for inspiring me again!
