The line color complements the gold/copper accents on both reels, and it’s sensitivity complements the ultralight rods you fish. Winning combination 👍🏾

Hello Victor. Yesterday evening I was able to try the very line featured in this video for the first time. I’ve been using pe for a long time and like what I’ve used so far, but this was given to me and I have to say that I like it. I live in FL and fish around some junk in the water most times and controlling the fish is ever present. The Twitch Master was very good at this, even when I had to put a little extra heat on them to do so. I didn’t use the float yet but next time out I will. I expected the casting to be diminished from the pe but not so. Distance was good and comparable to the pe also. My most used jighead weighs in at 1/43 of an ounce, not sure where that falls in grams, and casting with that light a head can be challenging. I believe I’m officially a convert and I’ll be buying more in the near future. Next up is also a lighter poundage and put it through the paces. Thanks for all you do Victor, we’re all a little smarter because of you and this channel.

Speak of the devil - I used the Twitch Master and Nogales side by side on Saturday. Totally agree - the Twitch Master was a revelation. I'm in love with this line and need to buy more. Nogales is a good line too, but Varivas says it's discontinued.

yes. discontinued. Hopefully something else with that color soon.

Thanks for the video Victor. Your set ups definitely received a workout. Glad you had a good outing! Received my rod yesterday to match up with the Shimano Exsence you reviewed. And I went with U-40 to seal the cork. Hope your wife has a great Mother’s Day!

thanks Dave, i got your paypal again the other day too! You know, today is 72F with 0-5 mph wind all day. Without exaggeration this is the best day for fishing since we've moved here. When you cast the gold out in the sun you can really see it and control your distance easily and land the lure anywhere you want. Bill Dance was catching crappie randomly out in open water on his last video.

Hi Victor - what size braid do u recommend for ultra light fishing ?
@ifishcatfish2 жыл бұрын
size doesn't matter for fishing as all sizes are super thin, assuming u buy something 8 lb or less. You need to consider what reel you are putting it on. Look at the recommended diameter for that reel. If u put super thin braid on some reels that are made for thicker line, then line lay is messed up

Hi Victor. I have a question regarding the braid for UL fishing and have heard that x4 braids are better for such small diameter than x8... Is there any truth to this if you maybe know ?

I do because my leader is usually thinner than the mainline. But this color blends perfectly in the lakes around me, at least from May to November. When the water gets cold and clear, u definitely want a leader

I'm very interested in that Soare XR... Can anyone compare it to Daiwa Airity 2000 LT? This is my second choose to XUL rod. Daiwa works very smooth and is very precisely made. I can't find Soare in my local shops, so I cannot compare it on my own. I use Vanford now, but I'm not very pleased with that to be honest. Is Soare really a better made reel, or it's just a Vanford with nice, gold/orange jacket?
@ifishcatfish2 жыл бұрын
it has some upgrades from vanford, but pretty much a vanford
@greggoryus2 жыл бұрын
@@ifishcatfish that's the case... I don't want to spend almost double the price of Vanford for a reel, that would be nice looking, but pretty the same with a bit harsh working drag too.
