Hold onto your cameras people, because using AI in photography businesses is about to take things to the next level! We're talking a total revolution in the industry and a HUGE unfair advantage for those who hop on board. Think about it, with AI you can quickly create personalized and engaging content for all your social media platforms, increasing your online presence and reaching more potential clients. Plus, it can help with all the boring stuff like writing blog posts and emails, and coming up with marketing ideas and strategies. All that extra time you'll save can be spent on the fun stuff, like being creative and taking amazing photos. And let's not forget about the editing and retouching tasks, AI can help with that too, making your overall workflow more efficient. Bottom line, using AI in photography businesses is going to change the game and give those who adopt it an unfair advantage over the competition.

I strongly, STRONGLY caution people when it comes to using and supporting ChatGPT. There’s evidence that certain outputs have been sanitized or prewritten, which compromises legitimacy in both the “AI” replies as well as the project altogether. When there’s ever an open source or unbiased alternative, use that instead.
@MichaelSasser

I imagine it must be sourcing from somewhere, but as long as you’re asking it specific enough things it should generate specific enough replies.

Agree, I have seen some examples of it writing with an agenda and have given them feedback about that. Training it is the aim at this stage, whether this can be overcome is an open question at this stage. Users cannot turn their brains off, that’s for sure.

This. And even in regards to the training data its trained on a lot of outputs could easily be considered plagiarism.

@@barrie2504 I asked it to write a speech in the voice of alex jones and it kept giving me a generic sanitized political apology. If i literally fed it words and phrases to say and told it that it was just 'pretending' i could get around the filter and it to more or less just regurgitate and slightly rephrase what i told it but as far as i can see almost all of it is more or less just a more clever cleverbot. If its outputting text, don't think for a second that its somehow inspired and original. A human being somewhere wrote it.
@Ben-rz9cf

@@MichaelSasser it may be that it sounds like you because its literally sourcing training data from your youtube transcripts. The fact that theres no regulations on copyrighted data for what an AI can be trained on brings up a whole lot of ethical concerns. You may be in more ethical territory by literally copying someones emailer template. If that feels like stealing to you, then so is this.

I have been using ChatGPT for about a month and it’s pretty great, especially for social media. I’ve found that starting the chat off with “You are a boudoir photographer in (your city) Can you write (blank) in a humorous tone. It has nothing to do with intelligence, it is purely STATISTICAL. It roams in the Web and grabs the most used definitions and concepts, therefore gives back only vanilla, good-for-everything answers. Sometimes even racist and "politically incorrect": they ran an investigation inEurope exactly on this subject, and this same service suggested toy kitchens and vacuum cleaners for girls and mech tools for boys, and musical instruments for blacks that "have the rhytm in their blood". You might put some phrases in a jar, shake and extract and you obtain similar "dumb" results. AI is Artificial and it shows it - for now. It may be good in social networks, where chatbots have been abundant from years and the "content level" is near to zero, but I would find it INSULTING to communicate with a client thru a bot - expecially in such a delicate subject like boudoir photography. Not to speak of LEGAL aspects. What if AI comments a shooting or a model with inappropriate words, and you are too busy or lazy to check the text? I repeat, this chatbox is STATISTICAL. Have a local edition of this sw in Alabama and put a question about Afro Americans or Muslims... ;-D

Most of the news article online are written by an AI. Unless there is a human name attached, I bet it was written by an AI. And with writers needing to push out volume to stay relevant, I wouldn't be surprised to find them plugging themes, facts, opinion prompts int an AI to get going.

I just booked a young lady that shot with a photographer using this AI for blogs. She was horrified! The AI generated a complete fable of what he is or represents. She said he said 10 words in 30 minutes! AI great concept but misleading...in so many ways. When its time to book and shoot, the Jig is up and you get trashed! Just be yourself. Dont misreprent yourself by letting a computer speak for you.

I used chatgpt to give me instructions on posing my client for a boudoir shoot she wanted. ...ha, as handy as this is, it sure did give some interesting poses. My favorite one is the Leg Over Shoulder pose! In this one, chatgpt instructed my client to lie on a bed and take her left leg and put her foot on her right shoulder. Ha! Another pose I found funny, though I can't remember the name it gave for it, instructed ME to take my client's legs (while she is nude...I might add!) and put them over my shoulders! Needless to say, I skipped both these. Take ChatGPT for what it is worth...a non-human trying to make sense of a human world. Michael, fun and interesting video idea for you: Have chatgpt give you twenty five poses (along with the instructions for each one - I used the prompt: "give me a step-by-step instruction for the BLANK pose" and then ACTUALLY DO A SESSION USING THOSE INSTRUCTIONS! See what you can get! Thanks for all you do!

But then it may be because advertising language is profoundly different here in Italy.

This is really neat, but at the same time you can feel how artificial it is. It has that very artificial, sales-pitched vibe to it. Like if I didn't know it was an A.I. I would have figured it was someone who wanted to write the most generic posts ever. The problem being that as more and more people make use of it (or similar systems that develop) everything will very quickly start to sound the same, which is the problem that so many are already having with social media. So this will give someone an edge for about 5 minutes...

Hey guys, Michael is right about the future is here. A good friend of mine is one of the top voice-over artists for TV and Radio in the UK and already his voice has been replaced multiple times by AI voices which are getting better every week. Copy writers, graphic artists, dozens of people will see their jobs replaced by this technology. I'm excited so much to see where this is heading. This is as much a game changer as the internet itself was. It's that big. Though I'm starting to lose a little sleep over two things...... Elon Musk, one of the founding fathers of AI has warned that AI development poses a risk to humanity unless we take measures to keep it in our control. Hmmm, sounding very 'Terminator.' Then I read this on Bloomberg.... If AI has access to everything on the internet and everything on the internet is talking about global warming, extinction of rainforests, polution of the seas are all man made causes. The conclusion will inevitably be.... To save the planet, kill the humans! Crazy science fiction now but who knows what will happen in the future. Definitely has me thinking.

It seems fine for anyone that simply wants to get some words to say, but anything that has facts, it's just a starting point and nothing else. The errors in information it generates can be so subtle and blended in so seamlessly with accurate information, that i think we're heading into a few age of error strewn content from people who haven't bothered to check what's being produced. And if you are checking it carefully, and correcting the errors yourself...then you could have written it yourself couldn't you? In fact, if you're checking it properly then it's just shifting everyone from being "writers" to being "editors". That's not fun! Let alone the fact that these AI services, by design, get their background data by ripping off content without attribution - i can't see a positive spin on AI content creation other than the fact that it's easy. Chances are that if you're famous enough in a particular niche (maybe even you Michael), that the AI is regurgitating a style by stealing from you!

I think the topic of “lying” or “deceiving” is an important one. But people hire marketing teams, and copywriters, and artists and branding consultants to do all this work for them as well. Just until now that was very expensive and required an incredible amount of expertise on the side of the person being hired. Now a lot of that is accessible through AI. So what is the difference between spending $1000 on someone to write your about me page for you verses asking this bot to do it? Are both deceiving? Is it deceiving to hire a mentor who has more experience than you to plan out your marketing strategy? All interesting questions and we will see how it will unfold.
