People without Anxiety, Agoraphobia doesn't understand some of us with Anxiety, Agoraphobia can walk 1 block away, and some can walk an mile, and there's some of us can't make it pass the front door.

thanks for making vids about your agoraphobia. I have it too and I agree with everything you say. no one really understands agoraphobia and they don't understand that agoraphobia doesn't just go away, it's always going to be there. You can make progress but there's no cure. But I digress, thank you for your vids, you remind me I'm not alone. cheers!! 😊

I'm so thankful someone talks about this. I found your channel today and for the first time in forever, I actually have a hope of getting better. Thank you so much.

I was nodding throughout the whole video because I experience this on a daily basis as well. It's painful enough to have mental illness and when people around us don't understand, it's just so frustrating and depressing. Sighs.

I can relate entirely to this. I have had severe agoraphobia for the past 4 years. It sucks majorly and no one gets it. You seem rly cool too and I wish we lived in the same place so we could be friends and help each other.

I seriously love your way of explaining. Omg im so much older than you but you are a badass.ive had agoraphobia since 14 also im now waaaay older but you are dead on 100% understandable to me. Keep up your attitude, it is awsome.

I subbed to you like a week ago and I already love you lol. I cant leave my house even to get the mail its really draging me down, and coping is different than recovery no one gets it. Im so sick of people "being on my side" and then they turn around and betray your feelings.

I know exactly what you mean! omg isn't it just ridiculous how people are like this. I have had so many people like family as well act like they are offended??...- if i turn down being invited somewhere as if I'm being rude or something??? people say they know what social anxiety disorder and agoraphobia is, but then yeah like you say in this video..- they then say things or act in ways that either shows they don't know about it at all, or just totally don't care that you have it... it feels to me like people these days are just becoming more and more uncaring of others and are just becoming really bitter towards people for totally irrational reasons..its hard for people like us. if we are nice - we get called annoying , if we are relaxed - they think we are dumb, if we are intelligent - then they think we are a smart arse?....if we are unusual - then we must be insane... kinda getting off topic here, but yeah I can totally understand how you feel in this video. no wonder we get anxiety from other people! lol

I have it too...and 48 years old. when I was your age people didn't understand me either and I had to cancel a lot of things. I was lucky to find a friend who understood and was good with me canceling. I however don't have it in open spaces and love the beach...just when it is not packed. I am hoping people are more compassionate and understanding, I could not do bars but can do movie theaters. I can do concerts at sit down arenas but not open field concerts with mingling people. Like you said each of us have safety zones that are different. my friends would invite me to bars and I said no but they said no to going to movies with me, but then they would go to movies with other people. I was pissed too. I hope you find people that like what you can do and accept you where you are today.

U r correct about different safety zones. My family member can't write letters or fill in forms. Or vote

I understand, I've had agoraphobia since I was 11, people are so ignorant and fucked up, they think you just have to push through it, but that's not how it fucking works! If they only fucking new what we have to go through, I'd like to show them the torture we have to experience

Common sense implies that everyone has it. I'd just call it "sense". =P
