I was involved in summer grant feeding programs with activities for the kids, field trips etc. Those kids were HUNGRY. The main reason they signed up for the programs was to eat. They'd get a light breakfast, morning snacks, a good, heavy, nutritious lunch then an afternoon snack. We used most of the grant money for food and there was nothing left at the end of the day. They ate every morsel. This makes me sick how anyone could steal from a kids program like that. Just unfathomable.

because usually the best way to get as much of the money back is to give them the chance to come up with the money. if you throw them straight to prison or arrest them they usually clamps up and their income stops, any money or sources of funds they have goes first to lawyers and legal fees and they can't take out loans or sell assets to come up with the money. it's like how sometimes fathers who are behind on their child support payments gets thrown in prison, then they are even less able to pay because they would have lost their job and ability to get jobs for income.

We were married in a chapel in Vegas (with our family's blessing). Total cost? $147. With photos! We had 2 wonderful family receptions at our parent's homes. (One in MN, the other in CA). My adopted mother bought a house. And when I left her before 18 years old , she was still collecting money from me up until 21. She refused to give me my insurance card for medical care. She just gave me the numbers. She’s a pastor today and still fosters children. She has them split up in designated areas of her house. That means 2 siblings are forced to sit separately throughout the house without getting up. Usually one is sitting on the couch. The other at the kitchen table. Another in the living room. One in the family room. One of the foster kids were taking 12 pills a day and his speech became severely slurred till the point he sounded a bit autistic. And he was about 10 years old. She has cars for all of her biological kids and the kinds of cars are Audi Tesla etc. the things she did to me growing up I will never forgive her. She is so evil. I am just over her for real. I wish I can write a book about that family. The best one was nana. Till this day I acknowledge her as my blood. She was the best Forster parent to ever come across. I will forever love her. I gave my daughter her name as the middle name. She’s in heaven now but I love her so much. It pours out of me.

News Now Pittsburgh : Negative ghost rider not every state, in Florida if you get a moving violation and don’t pay it, all they do is suspend your driving privileges. The only way you can get a warrant from a citation is if you’re charged with a violation like reckless driving, or driving with a suspended license with knowledge which has a mandatory court date assigned to it. Then if you fail to show, they will issue a warrant. A driving citation is an administrative punishment, not criminal. A speeding ticket, red light, fail to stop at a traffic signal is is not criminal so they can not place a warrant for an arrest. There are many really valid, credible nonprofit organizations, but people have to use some common sense to thoroughly investigate their background. Nonprofits who work collaboratively with government programs, other nonprofits and really build a presence in their region, and are run like a corporate company with a board of directors etc. are generally fine. THIS RIGHT HERE is the reason that I started a "win a Christmas" for families in the Sacramento area. NO money will go to any corrupt person, or pay anyone's salary. I am doing this with my own money, and helping one local Sacramento family have a Christmas they deserve. This year it is a single mother of 4 beautiful children. I keep the costs at $500 per child, unless there is a single child which would go up to $1000. So 100% of the $2,000 I spend this year on this will go to the needy.. This is my third year doing this and I have been talking to others to do the same. We need to help Americans in OUR city/town. Have some city pride. Help to make your city/town a better place. It really makes me feel a LOT better than giving money to charities and not knowing if it even helped a single person. .

I don't meet the children. I play "santa claus" (email and everything set up for this purpose). I tell them that they have been good children and that this year Santa is keeping an eye on them to make sure they help their mom out. This year there is a oldest Sister at 10, a boy of 8, and two more girls 7 and 5. On Christmas eve night I am going to meet up with the mother and drop all the presents off so it looks like santa came when they were sleeping. These kids I am doing this for haven't had a good christmas for a few years. She was literally crying when I told her that I could do this. Maybe the news will cover this one. I am not looking for attention or anything, but I do like to see happy stories on the news around christmas time. People can be so amazing when they want to be. I am not rich by any means but I have no problem paying for gifts for four children that had not had a good christmas in a long while. Last year it was a boy and a girl, and the year before that it was two boys and a girl who had lost their father in an auto accident that year. That one really got to me emotionally. I almost couldn't do it because I was an emotional wreck when talking to the mother. It was tough but I got it done.
