This booty electrifier is a lot like the TENS Unit I use for pain relief. But a lot more expensive. A TENS unit costs about $35 on Amazon. I wire up any joint where I hurt and turn the system on. When I'm really hurting I can turn the unit up to max and it will interfere with my normal pain sensations to my brain. It honestly helps a lot. I've also had it used on my after surgery to a knee. The physical therapy version has a lot more juice. I had one session where the settings were off and it felt like carpentry nails jammed into me in a tiny circle.

Why not do both, as you working out in a combination? I think we need to use more power. I am useing professionals type that if you put it on max it potentially could cause you an injury. I use 50%. It makes you scream hard as if you given pregnancy like. Of course i am not using that for the ass.

We use electrical stimulation like this in upper limb therapy after stroke. The idea is to stimulate the muscles in order to remind the brain that they are there and to encourage recovery of arm movement. It's one of many different things therapists can use.

(commenting this before watching the entire video) I suppose this thing can work since I know that some women use electric current things for their vaginas after having given birth, to help rebuild the muscles and stuff and they go to like a doctor to do it so I'm assuming it's been tested x3 (now I've seen the video) that change with a week of using it is rather impressive! Somehow that reaction of your muscles reacting on their own with the electric shock reminded me of when i was at physiotherapy and had electroshocks on my ankle and the guy told me "say stop when it hurts" and went on to blab about something and I said "stop" several times but he kept pushing up and talking. At some point, my toes were all crinkled up and my foot all straight like I was a ballerina doing the pointy thing and just goes "don't you have enough yet?" So every other patient sitting in the booths around me just screams "she said stop 5 times!" He was really sorry and lowered the intensity. 😂

Omg I'm literally wearing those right now - was trying to find a video to watch because they recommend you stand up or lie down whilst wearing them and avoid sitting (there is an instruction manual you can download from the website, as I googled it when mine arrived without one!) I have a really intense job and don't have time to go to the gym as much as I'd like - and I spend a good part of the day sitting which was wrecking my muscles - I couldn't do squats anymore and I was really frustrated and unhappy in the gym because of it which meant I didnt want to go. However, these shorts have made such a difference - I've hit some PB's since I've had it, and I feel like it stops me losing my gains because I can't get to the gym and am chained to my desk during the week. Love your channel - sorry for the essay xxx

This was extremely interesting. I use EMS devices as part of my physiotherapy and yes the pain can be insane. It worked well with exercise to recover from a shoulder injury, and it also helped with my back pain. I know shocking pain in the back to help relieve back pain sounds insane but it worked. It stimulated my muscles without the chance of injury. I have recently been trying it on my bad hit and the jury is still out. My cat thinks I'm insane to torture myself in my right hip, right groin, and my right bum cheek. This one has been the most painful of them all with the least results. For the record I did see an ad in this video, it popped up right after your Skillshare pitch.

The idea is not that absurd. Its now starting to be used on people in wheelchairs. The elctrode is placed directly on spinal cord And it essentially shocks the nerves to send impulses to different muscles in the body. And a nerve that is working is regenrating quicker so it speeds up the healing process

@@gabrielleg.1347 it's cervical or lumbar or both depending on where the injury was and what's causing the paralisis. It's now being tested by a few companies but It's not available to the public yet. You can do some research and see if you qualify to be their test subjects. At the same time don't loose hope, there is plenty of things you can do to speed up the healing process. My brother SWEARS by Acupuncture. And definitly consult this with a somebody who knows what their talking about, so you don't hurt yourself, but you could actually use electrodes like Ellbat did. The point is for the muscle to contract so it's not wasting away and it definitely reminds the brain that their there. STAY STRONG 💪

Hi there. New to the channel, loving your sense of humor :). As for the shorts, even without going to a gym, squats and targeted exercises can help achieve similar results (one needs to be careful and warm up and stretch not to pull a muscle or get injured), so personally i'd much rather go for that than getting the shorts, however i get the point of these maybe being useful in terms of injuries or to recover bloodflow to a certain group of muscles

I carry my muscle/weight in my thighs, and when I try to grow my bum, my thighs grow as well. Plus all the bum only workouts I see online seem to need gym equipment, which I don’t have easy access too. I wonder if using this in addition to my current routine would get more ideal results from an aesthetic perspective?

There are exercises that isolate the muscles, even the butt. Like bulgarian split squat, hip thrust, hip abduction, leg extension, RDL. But if you carry most of your fat on your tights and not much on your butt, it may take a while to show, unless the person is also losing weight.

It is possible to gain muscle using e-stim, but this does not mean it will magically happen faster than exercise. If you want muscle gains, understand and expect that it takes months or years to have visible results regardless of the method. The speed this happens depends more on your genetics and diet than how much you worked it.

"If you're here for any other reason than science.." Since hearing Ellbat ramble for the full duration of the video isn't a valid reason, I guess I better start walking.

I used to try a super cheap variation of this! Icyhot used to make TENS unit pads, I would get mine at walmart. it was like an icy hot patch with a little box you attatched to it, used to slap one on my stomach for a few days and I remember those little jolts getting to me too sometimes. though i doubt they were anywhere near as strong as these shorts. p.s. I had 2 ads on the video! you go girl!

Omg now I want those!!! For almost 20 yrs I've been doing everything I can think of including at one pt, about 100 squats a day for months, to life my butt or make it bigger etc cuz it's just like two lumpy bags of fat even when I was 110 lbs. I just recently bought something similar 4 my abs but they were only $14 & I felt the electrocution u r describing but I didn't notice any difference and in my 20s I was able to get a 4 pack after working out wit crunches & wat not after a cpl months. I dunno if it was just a cheap one and that's why it didn't work but I think maybe I'll spend more next time & try again. I am 40 now so it may just be that everything is more difficult body-wise but I HATE going to the gym 4 many reasons including agoraphobia & also I've had paradoxical vocal cord dysfunction since I was 15 & it's brought on by aerobic exercise or anxiety & it makes my vocal cords snap shut over my windpipe & I can't breath so I rly can't just do regular exercising, I have no idea wat the endorfins feel like cuz the last time I could exercise & still breath I was probably 12-13 which is when I quit dance, gymnastics and horseback riding. I also happen to take meds that cause muscle weakness so I could lift light weights for months and months & never get any stronger. My body basically hates me & likes to ruin my life. My mind too. I have 4 mental illnesses + ADHD so that kinda ruined my life more. I'm gonna die alone with cats and no money...sooner than later since in the USA the attitude is "screw u if u can't work, maybe if we feel like it we will give u a few hundred a month 4 disability after making u jump thru hoops 4 two yrs" but they deny 90% who apply & the max amt they give wouldn't last me a wk. I live in the 3rd most expensive state. It's like if I lived 5 mi outside London I assume thatd be pretty expensive. I wish I lived in a civilized country instead of a place where earning 2x the min wage still isn't enough 2 live on or even rent a studio flat (just a room wit a kitchen & bathrm but no bedrm). I don't know how this comment got so off course I'm sorry lol
