Stallone walked away from this movie for quite a while due to creative differences. I feel a lot of this was done during that period. As for Tony Jaa I know he had some issues during Ong Bak 2 and had to take a break

only reason I saw this movie is because I had nothing to do before my IMAX screening for the Barbie movie, I got a ticket and I almost walked out of it. Only thing that makes me feel good about watching it is that I can understand everything people say when they talk about this horrendous movie. Watching this abomination and then Barbie right after I got out of it was truly something else 😅😭💀

Like how did that movie get a green light and who the hell made it. I mean the people who made it MUST HAVE KNOWN it was career suicide. So why make it ?

What left a bad taste in my mouth is the end when Stallone comes back and Jason Statham asked him how he survived and he told him he just killed the Jumbo Shrimp character (who Stallone captured and left to die on the plane) and then it cuts to credits and "The Boys Are Back In Town" starts playing as if we weren't just told Stallone murdered a relatively innocent person.

I think it's time for an Expendable spin off, bring in Stallone or Statham to train the next generation. The team could be Hugh Jackman (or Ryan Reynolds), Margot Robbie, Hiroyuki Sanada (his character would only use a katana), Jennifer Lawrence (her character would use a bow), Micheal Keaton could be the guy in the chair, Jason Momoa, and Steven Segal as the villain.

It was because Stallone was leaving the series and that hurt the 4th film as he was the glue behind the series with having written scripts for previous films and even directed or produced. This film he didn’t even write the script, and had planned to let Jason Statham take over as lead actor.

@The Italian Stallion51 was right all along. I can't believe that Hollywood has wasted Iko Uwais and Tony Jaa talents were to be in this messy movie and other Blockbusters. Why can Slyvester Stallone get a better action directors than Scott Waugh the likes of Peter Berg, John Woo, Robert Rodriquez, Quentin Tarantino to give the Expendables franchise a fresh air.

When I went to watch this movie everyone near me had left after the first 20 minutes of it, it was so hard to watch the movie. The first one was decent, the second one was great because it was a lot of fun and delivered on the nostalgia of the cast (mainly because Arnold and Bruce Willis both had bigger roles in it), but I never saw the third one. ​@@SlotReelPlayer3 shoulda dropped the damn kids and replaced them with bigger stars and heres who i woulda picked Danny trejo Sigorney weaver Jackie chan Pierce brosnan Woulda shortened the plot a little as well as been an upgrade in casting from THE EXPENDABLES 2 instead of a slight downgrade just get rid of those 4 kids keep everyone else and change the plot around a little and it woulda been a better movie and make it R rated instead of that PG13 crap. Bet it wouldnt have gotten leaked and made more money too!
