I started KBs in October of 2023 in order to do something different than the traditional weight training I’ve been doing my entire life and in order to help my golf game. It has helped my flexibility and functional strength tremendously and quite honestly is a lot more fun. I turned 75 this past February. So it ain’t too late to start.

I am a 46 yr old woman and never been fitter in my life. I started Working out with KB during lockdown (starting with a 6kg, then 8kg and now 12kg) and been on it since then. When I discovered your channel, I did all the follow along videos and still do, along with listening to the podcasts and learning a lot. KB is for everyone and I encourage women to pick it up. Thank you Guys for all, you are giants ❤

I'm a 40-year-old male from Taiwan with a background in swimming, shot put and basketball. I've been training with kettlebells for about a decade. I stumbled upon your channel and subscribed after watching a few videos. I greatly appreciate your sharing of technique, training philosophy, workout programs, and your discussions with other experts. I will continue to use kettlebells as my primary training tool. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I'm into KB training for about 8 years now. When Cov19 forced all the gyms to close, I've switched from lifting weights to swinging the KB completely. Now I'm training in my own home gym and focus on thr KB and body weight training. I've lost some muscle mass, but I was able to gain strength, mobility and technique. I ran half marathons in about 1:40, I was able to learn climbing, it improved my boxing and I saved hours and hours of lifetime. I do not need to go to a gym for about more than one hour anymore. I train every day at home for about 30 to 45 min. I can even do that at lunch break.

former endurance athlete here, i picked up a 16kg KB 7 months ago thanks to your vids and enthusiasm. i ve only done swings to supplement body weight exercises, c3-4x week 10/15mins. my body has transformed: core & grip strength, much better posture and it seems to have healed my long lasting shoulder injury. fantastic content, thanks a million

I'm 47. I started doing the 15 minute workout for absolute beginners four weeks ago. Last week I fell down some stairs at home, and ended up with 2 'transverse process fractures'. My doctor told me yesterday that if I hadn't been working out, I very likely would have fracturef four of these bones, and very possibly my hip as well! Going to be a while before I can start working out again, but I am looking forward to it!

@lebe stark, I started using kettlebells earlier this year. I have come into your channel multiple times to gain your insight into this field of exercise. I have gained tremendous knowledge from you and others. At my age, kettlebells have revolutionized my fitness. I am fitter today than I was anytime in my younger years, and it totally shows. Many thanks to you and those like you.

This is great. So much of this gets lost in conversations about "optimization", chasing arbitrary numbers on lifts, and social media in general. Most of us probably don't want to be body builders or elite power lifters.

Great video. I JUST started with Kettlebells 3 weeks ago after 25 years of bodybuilding training. I bought a 12KG and a 16KG bell and I'm already looking to buy a 24KG. As crazy as it sounds, I feel more stable and stronger through my torso than I have in years - this after a mere 3 weeks of learning the swing, clean, press, and snatch. I'm 54 years young and look forward to dialing in a more athletic frame.

I took a kettleben in November 2021 for the first time when I saw an offer from black frydai. Then watch your video and return to the store to buy it. All your videos are of great value to me. I managed to get the Kb movement in my local area and participated in a 10' snatch where I felt like I was competing representing LS. KZbin home where I learned to snatch. I got 2 second place with 181 reps. It was fun to have all the enthusiasts of this sport get together. thanks again. I would also recommend that you start competing. What you say about competencies is true. I do not sympathize with competitions. but it was a way to help expand this sport while meeting and meeting great people. I am currently preparing a 10'long cycle Saludos desde caracas venezuela .

This was a very informative and encouraging video for all the newbies, including myself. What was interesting to me is that KB training makes you lose some muscle mass instead of gaining. I thought that it would do the opposite, considering it's known for building strength (I guess anyone who's new would think so at first.) My main want is that I want to lose fat while gaining strength....and some muscle so I thank you for indicating that bodyweight exercises are good with KB training! I just need to find out how much bodyweight training I need while continuing with the kettlebell. I'm 46 and trying to keep as much muscle mass as I can. I will get back to the E-book I received in hopes I can dig deeper.

Kettlebells are the most efficient, effective and fun fitness tool I've ever experienced. It torches fat fast, builds all sport endurance and strength, functional fitness...it has it all. There's a reason it's been called the "thinking person's workout." I feel like people who try to discredit the superiority of KB training just haven't tried it, or haven't used it consistently for long enough, because truly, the proof is in the pudding. I get inspired and try other things that promise "the best" results (for women anyway) like pilates, barre toning, yada yada, but all they do is steer me back to the bells. Love your content guys. Blessings!

Enjoyment of training ... that's a good way to put it. I have been into exercise and fitness for my entire life, since my teen years, when Arnold Schwarzenegger served as a huge inspiration for me. It is part of my life. It is who I am. But yes, training with kettlebells has been so interesting and enjoyable that it's still so much fun to see how each workout goes and where I might be able to progress.

God I love kettlebells. When I first started training I did only bodyweight until I built a solid foundation and then went onto kettlebells after seeing people use them. I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with them and became interested in the movements, so I had to buy one. My intention with getting fit was never really about building mass. Of course I wanted to get bigger, but I started training for my health and general fitness. I always wanted to be able to be a jack of all trades, I never just wanted to be big and strong. I also wanted mobility, flexibility, endurance etc. and I think that's why I attracted to kettlebells, and I attracted to them before I even knew they provided all those things! I absolutely loved the process of learning all the techniques (and still continue to learn), pushing through the discomfort and bruised forearms. I think a lot of people can't connect with bells because they feel so foreign when you start using them, but you just have to stick with it. It's like learning how to ride a bike, it takes time to understand. I love the way I train now: kettlebells, calisthenics, and natural movement/flow/primal movement. It encompasses everything I need and want in fitness. I've never been to a gym and wouldn't want to train any other way!

@RezoUIАй бұрын
Kettlebell is cool but most of guys will always prefer bodybuilding method to workout, cuz most guys prefer to gain muscles fast then quality of muscles and health.
@OfficialLeverKingАй бұрын
A balanced approach looks something like, a period of hypertrophy training to increase muscle mass, a period of power lifting to increase maximum strength output, and a period of strength endurance with kettlebells. You can repeat this cycle twice a year with ample deloads and really do some monumental changes to your body. Everyone has different goals, and some people desperately need mass, because muscle mass is the single biggest influence on hormone regulation.

@justinsmith3981Ай бұрын
Depends on what your goals are. You get power, endurance, mobility, and conditioning and a fair amount of strength. Only thing more efficient that I could think of is Olympic lifting plus sprinting for that and that requires much more skill and gym or a ton of space.
