I've never understood cheaters. When they cheat, it's fine, it's like a little adventure, but when their partner potentially cheats, it's a betrayal, worse thing ever as if they hadn't been cheating in the first place. Stuff like this makes me question if people have any self awareness to begin with
@Archiver_Studio Жыл бұрын
It's usually a method of doing something It's kinda like a high for those kinds of people They only get angry when they are betrayed cuz they believe they don't deserve it even though they are literal asshats So yeah it's basically just lack of self awareness.

@narsilthefreak6171 Жыл бұрын
Part of cheating involves either deliberately ignoring the fact that what you're doing is wrong or just being apathetic to how vile your actions are. With the former, the cheater projects their repressed feelings of guilt and remorse on their partner for even suspecting they're cheating, since that's what they feel towards themselves. For the latter, an apathetic cheater feels offended that someone might actually treat them the way they treat others because "they're the ones in control/the ones who dictate what goes on" or simply are hypocritical enough that they don't see how two-faced they are in having the nerve to be mad at getting cheated on.

When married, there cannot be any assumption of "privacy". You two are now 'one' and you owe each other full transparency. There is no justification for hiding things from your partner. Your partner deserves to know, in so many ways. If you do hide things from your partner, it will eventually come to light, trust will be gone (you will reap what you sow) and your relationship will be over. Period. Trust is the one absolutely essential ingredient to a happy, successful relationship. If you can't live with this concept, then don't get into a committed relationship such as marriage. It will not go well if you hide things from your partner.

This literally happened to me. I was with a girl whom I truly cared about for 6 years. We were college sweethearts. She went out one night with Co-Workers after months of being distant. and I noticed her talking to me about this dude at work. She then didn't talk to me for three days. I broke it off with her without asking questions. I already knew. Years later after the breakup and being single all that time, she told me she did cheat on me with her co worker. Turns out, the guy gave her a permanent STD, even I was her first and made it clear that I wanted to settle down. Karma is a bitch. Since then, she is still in the same small town, single, her father loves me, and all the meanwhile. I did a 180 degree turn, lost 50 lbs, became very successful, and never will look back.

Once you cheat on a partner short of physical abuse everything else is fair game for the other person to make sure they come out with as little reputation damage as possible since so many cheaters lie and flip who messed around/ fully change how they cheated one time being taken advantage off when drunk etc rather than a months long thing. When your married to that person then they even more have every right to do anything (again short of physical violence) to make sure they can leave the marriage with as much as possible, people commit suicide from that sh*t.

Not thinking about the other person who will also have to deal with them. Just be honest. Talk. Discuss things. If something isn’t working, don’t be afraid to say it isn’t working. So much heartache could be avoided if people were just able to speak about how they feel and why.
