Brilliant! I would say it seems a bit jerky, but I have trouble flying in rate mode so I shouldn't complain. Amazing flying, so cool that you can keep your bearings.

I agree. My cameras narrow FOV, along with the YT compression, the new flying style and the limitations of control while switching prop directions makes it a bit rough.

MTL Racing I plan to keep this quad 3d and keep my other normal. It is a little hard to switch flying styles back and forth but I still really like normal flying.

Hey man. I followed your guide and it worked, almost. i could flip the quad and hover inverted for as long as i like. But when i flipped back the quad would freak out and fall. I did this with 3 quads, all showed exactly the same symptoms. It must be a setting that i missed? Im used the the throttle movement since i also fly helicopters in 3D.

do you fly with any camera pitch or is it level when you do 3d. I feel like you would want no pitch so when you are inverted you dont just see like the ground

half loop with a powerful front flip (when you are half of front flip reverse thortle to pus you back would be cool with this 3d stuf :D like wall inward front flip just on bigger scale with drone :D

Constant practice is the key. I set up 2 gates in my small back yard and just going through and around those every day has made a huge improvement. If you can just make it through a battery or two a day, pushing the boundaries of your own comfort zone just a little each time. Not enough to break your stuff, but just a few minutes a day and you'll be amazing people in no time

tnx! appreciate it. in my own programmed flight controller I can calculate different pid multipliers for when flying upside down, although experiencing lower thrust, pid gain is hardly affected. This way I can fly 3D while maintaining the efficiency going up.

I tried it right away with no simulator but there are simulators with 3D modes. FPVfreerider being one
