I am a morning girlie too. I do an hour at the gym at 4 am on the weekdays followed by a 20 minute walk outside. I feel so much more productive during the day and it's nice to have your workout completed before you start your work day. Great video, Julia!!!

I couldn't either, but I realized that I can do cold baths. I've been doing them about a month and they are nice !

this all sounds good, however, I have to get up at 5 am for work ... so the sunlight is no where to be found! And my exercise happens in the evenings. I say do what works for you!

Exactly. Some jobs simply aren’t “optimal” for health. A lot of these health gurus already have health privilege on their side, so we can’t attribute one single pattern to their health

Exactly what I was thinking. Majority of Americans don’t have jobs that allow them to workout in the middle of the morning like that.

I love that you showed what you actually do! I tried his morning routine too but come to find out he has caffeine first thing if he is going to workout! So ya that wasn’t for me either! I enjoy getting my workout totally done before focusing on work, I’m with you there!

😂 love this I used to not be a morning person. Now I can get up at 3/4am with no caffeine and love getting my workout and God time then. Makes your day so much better takes some time to get used to! Definitely worth it & life changing!!!

Very interesting. I have similar morning routine with Andrew H lol Wake up 6.30am, open windows and get some sunlight, drink 1 little of water with sea salt, 1 hr some sort of body movement, 10am black coffee , 12am first meal of the day. I feel like I’m winning at life 😀🤌🤌

I’m a morning person. I get up at 5:15am and at my desk for work from 5:30-7:30am. After that I workout, do cardio, shower and eat. By 10am I’m back at my desk until 12pm. Then I’m done work for the day and then I eat lunch.

I wake up at 6-6:30am each day except for the weekends because of my job starting at 8am. The first thing i do aside from bathroom is drink 10 ounces of water with my multivitamins. Then i hold off taking in caffeine for 2 hours but also make sure im not drinking caffeine past 10:30am otherwise it affects my sleep. The water hydration first thing in the morning and pushing back caffeine does help energize me and wake me up.

So a few things...I just found your channel. I've been binging all weekend. 😅 I live in DFW so HI neighbor! And I've been following Andrew Huberman's routine for about 2 weeks now. I actually joined a cryotherapy place and I ❤ cryo! I've did -175°F for 3 and a half minutes on my 4th session. The goal is now to stay in longer since I've worked my way up to the coldest level.

Oh you can ease yourself into it. I started with just finishing my shower with cold water over my feet. I now lower the temp after after I wash my hair, it actually starting to feel really nice 😅

Soooo, I appreciate the dedication BUT sometimes these videos aren’t just real life to me. My husband, for example, gets up at 5:00am-leaves for work at 6:00. Works AT LEAST a 12 hour day-AT LEAST. Then comes home, showers, eats dinner n gets to watch a few hours of tv n relax and then go to bed n do it all over again the next day. He’s 65. Never complains either. Good man! Maybe when he retires he can try this technique.

Dr. Hubbeman says to get 10 mins of sun within 2 hours of waking up… don’t quote me on that. But I take my 10 min break at work outside and get that sun on days I have to run out the door. 🫶🏼

Okay....first, YOU are amazing! To have completed this daily routine when it is totally out of your comfort takes great strength and a heart to learn. Second, IMHO I have some issues with this plan. Your assessment is right on the money when it comes to sunlight first. Where does this guy live? (Obviously it isnt Minnesota in the winter time.....oh ya it is California.....) Cold showers are phenominally good for men. Most men do NOT enjoy the heat due to their hormone balance and testicular health. Women on the other hand benefit from warm/hot showers. Women's menstration cycles benefit from a warm shower or bath due to abdominal muscle cramps even muscle lethargy in the upper thighs and groin area. Hot compresses or warm baths help to alleviate symptoms associated with this time of the month as well as just general health on a daily basis. Yes there are women that will take a cold plunge but for general health and well being women prefer the heat and men prefer the cold. Adding salt to your water can be healthy or it can cause problems. A little can add electrolytes, too much can dehydrate you and make you sick. Many people struggle with water on an empty stomach especially with tap water that has been treated by the local municiple treatment facility. In addition, many people are on medication (short term and long term) that requires food intake to process the medicine. Personally I think your daily routine is top notch from what you have allowed us to witness. Each one of us have a bio clock that "performs" throughout the day. IMHO, you do a good job honoring yours. Thanks for sharing your insights. Now, just where did I place my cup of coffee????😅

I think Dr. Stacy Sims mentioned on a podcast, that because women vasodilate more, we don't need as cold temperatures for the cold plunge to get the same benefits.

I love this! I currently do some of those things. I also have a polar pod and cold plunge almost daily. I was in fight or flight from Trauma for years and cold plunging has completely helped me with that. The hardest one is to delay coffee for 90 minutes but I know it’s doable. Thanks for Sharing @juliarene ❤

Julia, use straw when you are drinking water from the jar. It will be easier and faster. Trust me! It's the best trick ever to drink more.
