I'm highly sceptical to be honest. One study carried out and paid by the company which makes the product doesn't make it science-based for me. Also, you used other products during those two months and you don't mention the in-office treatments you had which could have improved your skin. I wouldn't buy this serum, very expensive and really doesn't have enough objective science behind it. Also, "purging" always makes me suspicious, I think you just had an alregic reaction. Thanks for sharing your experience anyway!

To be fair most skincare studies are paid for by the makers so that’s not unusual but I agree that it’s expensive and I certainly had some kind of reaction to it. I did microneedling at the start of the year but didn’t overlap and have otherwise just followed my basic routine.

Thank you for your review. Does it do anything for pores and nasal labial lines (not folds)? It’s so dang expensive it doesn’t make sense to me, but if would help with those two areas I may try. Thx
@thehonestchannelАй бұрын
I can’t say I’ve noticed a big difference in my pores but my wider routine keeps them under control. I don’t think any serum would make a significant difference to nasolabial folds I’m afraid because they are pretty deep set. This serum is more of a skin hydrator and plumper which helps with fine lines as well as adding in the extra UV protection. It is very expensive though, as you say.

Thank you so much for this video and letting us know about your experience with the products. I'm really looking forward to your other video with Dr. Hitchcock from Biojuve as I am very interested in obtaining this product. I want to hear all questions but if you can sneak in one last one would be amazing; I like to put on castor oil at night all over my face as an occlusive and I learnt that this also a primary ingredient in Biojuve, can I still put on the castor oil at night or would it decrease the effects of the Xycrobe technology. Are proportions important for the action or not really? Have a nice dary!

Hi. I have already done the interview with Dr Hitchcock but we do discuss castor oil. Spoiler alert, he's a fan. I don't ask specifically about using it with his products but he says it is microbiome friendly so shouldn't create an issue.

Here is my opinion after watching you for a while, you don't need the lotions and potions. You need microblading for your eyebrows and upper blepharoplasty for your eyelids. Boom. 10 years younger!

I’ve had the microblading 😁 and it’s skin health and overall healthy aging that I’m interested in rather than looking ‘young’. But, yes, surgery is the ultimate route cosmetically.

Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical. Dr. David Sinclair has become questionable backing products that he sells with his "science" that ultimately show little effectiveness in RCTs in humans.. like nmn. Maybe for those over 65 it might help. Is it marketing or real science with him? Hard to tell

Not impressed by the results. It seems anyone could get similar results with tretinoin and other interventions. I'm not willing to put any 'extremophile' anywhere on my skin. The risk and irritation isn't worth it. There aren't enough long-term studies. I think they discovered something novel and found a way to turn it into a cash cow.

I would be interested on how the bacillus lycate compares to ectoin. Ectoin is also produced from a bacterium that can survive in extreme environments and has very similar benefits (hydration, protection from uv and stressors), but is way more affordable and accessible.

That would make a great comparison. I’ll get onto it. Thanks!

@eleannakritikaki48115 ай бұрын
Did their study have a control condition? Comparison with baseline is not enough. And what does it mean that the serum has a 'purge' period? Does it increase cellular turnover, 'purging' pimples like retinoids? And since it claims such DRASTIC antiageing properties, where is the catch? Wasn't that anti tretinoin doctor saying that there is always a cost? How can we trust all these products not to have some mysterious skin thinning effect, since there are such few, if ANY, studies at all, especially long term?
@thehonestchannel5 ай бұрын
I think it is always a fair point to say we don't truly know the long-term impact of frequent/daily use of different ingredients, and combinations of ingredients (including preservatives) on our skin. That is why I think less is more and why I tend to use things in lower quantities and frequencies than are recommended by the makers.

Not sure I’m convinced enough to make the financial commitment to this one but always interested to hear about new technology 🙏🏻 Can’t wait to watch your next video with Dr Hitchcock. I’m a couple of months into my Biojuve routine & my skin is looking great. Skin barrier repaired, contact dermatitis cleared, rosacea outbreak at bay & skin feeling plump & bouncy. This was a complete rethink for me as I normally have at least 4 steps in my routine & am addicted to regular exfoliation which is the reason my skin barrier was poorly! The Biojuve routine isn’t cheap but with a paring down of the number of products to purchase & almost immediate improvement to my skin it has been worth the investment so far. I’m coming to the end of my Biojuve products & I’m pretty certain I’ll repurchase ❤
