It is the same as German Schnitzel with cheese and tomato, Italian style. Much of Europe has similarities in the foods they eat with various versions giving things their own National touch and with common ingredients based on the food produced in that country. The closer you get to borders the more the food takes on the style of the next country. Remember Germania was once occupied by the Romans. You also had the Normans marching through. You have Eastern, French, Spanish and Mediterranean as well as other influences. Noodles came from China.

@@chrislim7976alfredo pasta and chicken parmesan is an americanised food. It doesn’t actually exist in italy, well technically original fettuccine alfredo does exist, but it’s made only with parmigiano and butter. You’d be shocked to find out garlic bread isn’t italian either😂
