I tried Last Epoch's 1.0 Release!

Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today I tried Last Epoch's 1.0 release on February 21st!

Been playing this game for years with hundreds of hours and I was still pumped for launch and jumped right back in from the beginning to play warlock. This game is truly great

The point of dual wielding is, when compared to 2h you get more affix slots, compared to S&S you get different base stats and IIRC weapons have different available affixes than shields and if you find two unique+ swords you can use them both for their unique effects.

Hammer Throw is more of a Paladin build and you typically want to go all-in with throwing damage, bleed on hit or ignite on hit. Hammer Throw Iron Spiral or Nova Hammer is one of the best builds in the game. For Void Knight I would recommend sticking with Warpath for leveling. It’s is one of the best leveling skills especially for VK.

What I love about games like this is that it’a “strict” character design helps keep it so that all builds are pretty well balanced. Also I loved the hardcore D4 because it just made the whole playthrough feel more thought out and like every decision mattered

The beauty of Last Epoch is that you can actually build a melee mage that wears heavy armor, and it's entirely viable.

@McDoubles You're not limited to putting passives into your chosen mastery. After choosing Void Knight, you can place passives in Paladin & Forge Guard up to the middle of the passive tree (illustrated by the chain), and you can unlock and get access to those abilities as well. Even more build variety!

Can't agree more. This is an awesome game. I had bought it when it was still in early access and the progress they made is insane. I enjoy it more than Diablo 4 and POE. I play a healing hands paladin that uses Vengeance as an attack skill. That last skill you mentioned that takes you back in time is really strong. It leaves 2 areas in the ground that give you 30% damage each and you can put them on top of each other. Basicaly its a permanent +60% damage ^^. Also the hammer can be made to work like the hammerdins in diablo builds .

Mate check out a hammerdin build can be made in void knight too, like diablo 2 hammers spiral round you and can proc smite as well, only thing is you need certain idols but its very good

I played it about 2 years ago and back then it was already a full complete, very satisfying game experience. I made a sick Spellblade Battle Mage among other things and all of my builds felt unique but still viable in their own way. Other than Grim Dawn this is probably the best ARPG out right now.

I saw that you have started posting other games other than wow and wow+ servers I thought now would be a good chance to wing it and see if you would try Elden ring since there is a big pvp network, and you can coop for bosses, deal with invaders or be the invader and chase down the host, honestly the PvP can be a lot of fun for Elden ring and with the dlc now announced to come out in June, there will be an influx of new and returning players.

This is probably the best ARPG I’ve ever played. It’s what Diablo 4 and Path of Exile should have been. I highly recommend going Paladin for your first play through. You get a ton of block, resistances, damage and healing.

I hate rpg games that have gender lock and no custom appearance feature. Like in Path of Exile, it has gender lock. It stinks that I can't play as a female mage or a male rogue as an example. Oh well. Anyway, Last Epoch is far superior over Diablo 4 in my opinion and taste. And since it isn't an online only game, it isn't plagued with microtransactions.
