You do a great job on these user experience videos. Thanks. I rarely touch instagram at this point. I quit FB about 4 years ago. I thought of another thing cheaper than 11.99/ month, a walk in the local park, seashore, river side, hill side. I do appreciate the need for creative people to have a social media presence. It also seems to me that we have a large number of people out there that want to scam people. So how do you protect from scammers, have a reasonably priced system that is safe for everyone? I'm not sure we're there yet. But keep doing what you're doing. I like your videos.

You’ve pretty much described our experience. In fact after my initial excitement on instagram. I’m pretty frustrated with it now. Becoming almost irrelevant for us now, did Facebook ruin it ? Or was it always inevitable? Ever more posts from ever more creators, with decreasing numbers viewing. Can’t see instagram recapturing the glory days. I may however just be a grumpy old cynic 😂

I had it for several months. I canceled when I contacted support (admittedly they were quick to respond) for a time I was restricted from posting for 24 hours (all I had done was try to reply to a comment someone had left on my post, nothing spammy, nothing offensive, just something that triggered something). Support acknowledged it, but said there was nothing they could do - I just had to wait it out. So I canceled.

I had the same exact issue. I commented on a figurine store and I got suspended with no explanation . If you have this issue change your VPN to other countries so that the reason and the comment that leads to the suspension appears to you

yeah the same situation for me with the customer support, they're really good and fast at responding but it's basically common knowledge for the responses, i do still have it to test out new features but i don't think new features are being released just yet just for meta verified subscribers... even though many new tests are in the wild to random accounts

I see a big problem when you build a profile under your artist name. or when you cannot state your real name on a social network (there may be such reasons). unfortunately, no one will verify you

Actually you can still get verified but you have to trademark the name and start an LLC, Then use the LLC name to get verified. However, I’d be embarrassed to pay for a blue check. Whenever I see accounts with blue checks I immediately block them because I don’t care what pretentious people have to say.

Yes.ive been shadow banned for a couple years now and I submitted everything proving it me.They asked for a utility bill and I showed them,they asked for articles and all and I gave it to them even a article from The Source that I was in and they still said no I gotta pay.. The badge is for perception. When people see a badge they’ll look at your profile description and trust that you are real and legit. It’s just like anything else. If you create commercials of a Mercedes with a tiger inside of it for 30 years eventually people believe it’s luxury

Ironically, I was just looking into this for my artwork and personality page along with my band. I’m surprised how many people were willing to pay that kind of praise and everything anymore is subscribe and save. I don’t know if I am saving, at this point. I personally think it’s just another way for them to monetize. It used to be that you could put an ad on Instagram or Facebook and they would push for gigs and shows, but I don’t feel like it’s worth it anymore. I haven’t seen anything better for the last few years.

Nope you're literally paying to have a blue check and that's literally it. Paying for X would be a better option specifically in what you're talking about, you can upload long-form video at 1080p (up to 3 hours and a higher limit soon) and they are working on 4k upload and streaming
