After seeing him doing glitchless Any% at the end it made sense. (Context:You can use whirlwind with any ranged weapon,making you deal ungodly amount of damage from any point and rendering command spell useless)

@@Life-pq6lz My statement was incorrect, I didnt notice that he bought the command spell at the same time as whirlwind. I was thinking of the steam version where command is at 15 magicka. Whirlwind is also at about 23 magicka as well which I forgot, so my bad on that.

⁠@@spajk0012We use an old flash version of the game where whirlwinds would ignore the persons armour. In glitchless, using command and whirlwind is much much faster because it only requires 1 hit in most cases compared to compared to landing several taunts, especially considering there’s a chance of blowing them back. It’s used in some other categories such as 60 charisma and John the Butcher.

That's a bug, which isn't allowed in glitchless. It's used in the Any% category instead

@@waterfina7944 is it not also a bug that when the person uses command, it overlaps the enemy causing them not to take a turn? it doesnt happen in my version where the emperor is level 60 and not 50 like in the video also when the computer uses command, your turn isn't skipped and the fact that the overlapping interaction only happens at the edges of the map instead of forcing one at the start of the duel when both players are at the middle, i dont know how that isn't bug abuse

I found out early on in S&S2 that the Lunge attack uses whatever weapon hit you got on the enemy last. (If you successfully landed a Power, that lunge will 100% hit with the same damage as a Power. Same with doing a Whirlwind before Lunge, making it become another whirlwind) If you thought this was painful, just wait until you try the 3rd game. It gives anyone the ability to kill you instantly with a random "crit" with anything that isn't a ranged weapon. Also RNG Shops that force you to grind out fights to get them to rotate their selection

You can reset the game to rotate the shops. It worked for me at least. And tbf you only want to be using magic anyway in the 3rd sws, they just as broken as taunts in sws2.

As a child, my friends and I tried (and failed) to play this game, because it is so difficult. What we did manage to do, however, was find an extremely exploitable bug. If you included illegal characters in your name at character creation, it would break the game in unpredictable ways and cause some of your stats to end up impossibly high or low. A name "..", for example, would cause this bug. I do not know if it still works, or if it is allowed in a speedrun, but it did make the game extremely unstable.

I Love SaS 2!! 💙 My favourite SaS game. Classic collection on steam has a Champion Rush Mode under Fan Mods tab. If you're getting tired of random duels ;) It also has other neat features Maybe this needs a speedrun

At this point I really want to start a speedrun for PlanetSide 2 but I don't know what to set the end goal at... Not easy thinking of a speedrun for a 3 way 4000 player version of Battlefield Conquest where each match on 7 continents as maps on a planet in constant civil war called Auraxis where each match can last up to 24 hours. Good news is you don't need to worry about matchmaking as you choose which of the three factions you want to fight for on character creation. Oh wait I got a good idea for a PlanetSide 2 speedrun! There's a secret mercenary fourth faction you unlock by getting a character on any of the other 3 playable factions to level 20. The speedrun would start once you finish character creation and join a match on any open continent and ends when you reach battle rank/level 20 to unlock the fourth mercenary faction of the NSO or Nanite Systems Operatives.
