In the start of the video, what did you mean you were doing pull ups with your joints instead of your muscle? Can you elaborate on that?
@Overcomertwo Жыл бұрын
Good question! I meant not to make jerky movements during pull-ups, but to make smooth movements, during sharpness you hurt the joints, and if you pull yourself up not by swinging yourself like a swing, but by pulling with the help of muscles, then you will be without injuries and muscles will be flowing!

Hey, I'm a 14 year old girl and have NO STRENGTH whatsoever. I used to not mind, but now it's starting to get to me. I don't have great endurance either, but my goal is to have the same look of a twig, but be able to easily take people down in a fight. Are there any excursuses anybody can recommend? I can't find anything else about it.
@Overcomertwo Жыл бұрын
what do you want more? strength or endurance?
@MochaChino-ww5xx Жыл бұрын
@@Overcomertwo Probably strength
@Overcomertwo Жыл бұрын
@@MochaChino-ww5xx The best way to start from scratch. Start doing exercises without weight, those exercises where you want to increase your strength. Start doing push-ups without weight and learn to pull yourself up on a low bar, so the muscles from the beginning adapt to your own weight, and already then you can build this strength. Where exactly would you like to have power?
@MochaChino-ww5xx Жыл бұрын
@@Overcomertwo Probably arm and core
@Overcomertwo Жыл бұрын
@@MochaChino-ww5xx Start from scratch. Use the low bar for arms, dumbbells, as well as regular push-ups, regular abdominal exercises will also be good - since you are just starting, all this will help pump strength. Do 3x10 low bar pull-ups, 3x10 dumbbell curls, start 3x10 push-ups, and try to do 3 exercises for 1 minute per press, rest between repetitions 1 minute. If it is difficult, reduce, easy - add, the main thing is that it is difficult - but this complexity should be possible for you.

I'm gonna say something, and maybe this is kinda stupid, but what I think about this guy is that his training is smarter than many training methods out there. Doing 4 reps every min could be useful for every situation, instead of the 3 sets 12 reps, and I'll try that once a week to see how it goes.
@fazex4185 Жыл бұрын
Well, if you have the time, sure. The second thing is, what are you trying to achieve? Hypertrophy? Then, as can be found in the literature, it doesn't matter if you do 3 or 30 reps, if and only if you reach failure or come close to it. This feat of strength is amazing, but you're comparing apples to oranges. Good luck in your fitness journey!
