Can you give it another try? After getting abandoned by their publisher (they stopped publishing games) they made it a 3-player coop/solo rpg with it's echoes update. I think they deserve some help after trying to save the game all by themselves.

Played Wayfinder on day 1. The launch was honestly a disaster even for early access. But once the main issues were ironed out, I almost immdetiately noticed how good foundation there is. Really hope Airship Syndicate manages to keep this game up and deliver good content, this could be "my" live service game.

Great summary mate! I have been playing since launch and the server issues at the start sucked huge dick but now thats been rectified the game has potential it, needs some content to keep the EA players entertained as ive crafted all characters and weapons etc while still having a blast with the combat etc itd be nice to have some new scenery to play in lol hopefully people give it a chance its hella fun

Respect the grind! Honestly it's going to be tough to keep up with content for players who have grinded everything from the get go and continue to do so ever release, but we are committed to adding big content releases each season (3months) with content drops within each season too. Even launch will be just the foundation imo, but given enough time, there is going to be a whole fricken world to get lost in. In my mind there's nothing wrong with multiple games all living and growing at the same time. Letting players rotate through all the various games and coming back to refreshing new content seems like a pretty sustainable ecosystem to me, but time shall tell! Thanks so much for the support and keep kicking ass!

that first boss is from darksiders 😀, airship syndicate signature but i wish if the animation looked like darksiders 2 the art style in that game was ahead of it's time and so unique, still my fav entry in the series.

It’s got fun gameplay, but the MMO progression systems are bare and lacking. Also surprisingly more like warframe’s earlier days than I thought it would have been.its got potential, but I’ll wait on it to cook in the oven for a while

I mean the fact it's MMO so by default I can't experience everything solo is a 'no-go' for me. It's a shame since I love Airship's games like Battle Chasers for example. I was hoping Wayfinder is gonna be more of a loot based game that you can tackle solo or in coop but... Oh well. Good for MMO fans I guess.

Sure it's a bit lacking in content, but the good part? DE will never rush the devs to make content, they know first how to churn out meaningful stuff, and that sometimes it takes time. So the game is in good hands and will only get better.

Looks cool in this video, I guess that's PC. On PS4 pro it is an absolute jank fest. Like an uneven 20 fps, spawning in on missing assets and falling in place over and over, stuff like that. Could end up really cool for sure, needs a ton more work on console.
