I turned SWEDEN into the MOST POWERFUL VIKING EMPIRE in Crusader Kings 3 A-Z

In the 867 start date, The Pagan Viking Norse rule the north in Crusader Kings 3! But what if I told you that there is one Viking that has the power to unite ALL of the Norsemen under one empire banner? BJÖRN IRONSIDE!
So that's what we're going to explore today! As Koifish will play as the soon to be King of Sweden, one of the strongest and most broken PAGAN Kingdom starts in all of CK3!
This is a part of the Crusader Kings 3 A-Z series, where I play as every recommended starting character in CK3! And this one is the most diplomatically masterful of them all: Björn Ironside!
I will be using all the tips and tricks and strategies that I went over in my CK3 Lifestyle guide series, mainly focusing on Martial and Learning! I'm also playing with all the current CK3 DLC, Including Northern Lords, Royal Court and Fate of Iberia!

Diplomacy is the first out of five different Lifestyle focuses that you can pick for your character in Crusader Kings 3. But how GOOD is it? It's absolutely BROKEN! @@Koifish do a Roman Empire run with him! If you use the character creator to put someone with Roman culture in the game, you can have them educate your kids in it. Then if you do the Unify Italy decision, I think you can form the Roman Empire while still being Asatru. Might want to reform the faith, though.

@@Oldass_Deadass_dumbass_channel I just checked the CK3 wiki- if you reform the Roman Empire as Unified Italia or Byzantium and your culture is Roman, you can be any religion. Specific faiths (Christian or Hellenic) are only required if your culture is not Roman.

I love ck3. It’s an upgrade from the chance based ck2, but sometimes I miss ck2. I think it had better mechanics. If only ck2 wasn’t mostly random chance

but still ck3 is nowhere close to the AGOT mod for ck2. ck3 literally just added more aesthetics to look better and did almost nothing with the actual gameplay. I spent over 4000 hours playing ck2 AGOT mod, the base versions of both these games are incredibly lackluster just sitting around waiting for pop up messages called "events" that ultimately don't really lead to anything or have actual significant impact because you can pay off someone's opinion of you, then it just becomes a map painter

Just a note that befriending, seductions and alliances also increase vassalization acceptance - I believe that befriending increases it even more if you are clan government.
