I mastered my blow out accidentally. I was doing a keratin treatment that recommended blow drying hair right after shampoo. No conditioner or leave in. I used a clarifying shampoo and a heat protectant…that’s it! But my hair came out so straight and silky before the keratin. I still do this minus the keratin. I just prepoo with a deep conditioner before shampoo. Blow drying works best on really clean hair.

Girl start wearing twists. I did that starting at the start of quarantine and when I keep it up my hair does so well. I have essentially the same hair type. Just make them smaller and you can wear them down or in a ponytail, like i prefer. Keep it moisturized and redo them every two weeks at MAX (learned the hard way when I was lazy a few times) and youre gucci. If you really keep them up you can even wash your hair in the twists and redo them after wash day. I usually wash them in twists when I can, then take them out for my deep condition and redo my style how i feel that week.
@kamilliaspain28822 жыл бұрын
I have just about the same hair type too and I noticed when I kept my hair in twists it grew longer and was much healthier. 💜 the video Danielle and I have the same dryer. A tip I learned with that hairdryer is that it works better or damp hair instead of wet hair. If you let your hair dry a little bit ( i personally wait ~30 min to a anl hour) before using the dryer you will need less passes to actually dry your hair allowing the dryer to blow yout hair out more.

Possible tips: Apply products/oils of choice and let the hair air dry in twists (for stretch) to about 70-80% dry then try the revlon. Damp hair is easiar to blowout than soaking hair. Maybe try a heat protectant (also adds slip) if the heat is too high (skinty strand gang). Expect the same amount of time (or less if you have high porosity hair) overall. Just more time waiting/multitasking and less time blow drying = ) Regardless - Hair is looking as lovely as ever

Your hair looks great; and I love your technique of holding the sections - think I’ll try. Please note: You can do much bigger sections with that dryer. I have the same one. I think it’s less stress on the hair when you use bigger thicker sections (and hence, more retention).

I have been a 4c, fine-textured, and high density gal since 10 (I'm 22). In 2019, my hair had grown to 24 inches and decided to blow it out with this exact brush. It was *huge* , beautiful, and...dangerous. After 6 *total* usage since then (over 3 years), I have had to cut my hair to 14 inches this passed August because the brush tore through my hair despite me sectioning, detangling gently and properly, deep conditioning, heat protectant, etc. I haven't struggled with loving or growing my hair like you have and I am warning you. My ends became translucent from breakage from this brush and while I am now at 16 inches because of a good hair regimen,diet, and whatever genetic or environmental factors, this brush is probably not the best tool for us fine-textured waifus.
