I've been drinking bone broth for a total of about 4 months now and I'm sharing some of the benefits I've experienced! I've been drinking the Dr.Kellyann Bone Broth packets the past few weeks, and I've really been enjoying them, thank you to the Dr.Kellyann team for sending them my way for me to try out :)

The digestive difference is amazing with bone broth! This is why I drink it! I generally make mine, but in the summer I need to buy it because I just can’t cook and simmer some thing for 24 hours in the heat. My focus has been on good digestion including properly acidifying my stomach, taking enzymes, and drinking bone broth. Also, not snacking helps usually with digestion and keeping bloating at bay!!

It is such a big difference! I was skeptical at first but it really helps me a lot! How do you properly acidify your stomach?

Use an instant pot. It only takes two hours and doesn’t create any heat at all. Although, I like to roast the bones in the oven first but you can buy a rotisserie chicken and use that.

I love bone broth in the instant pot. 3 hours 2-3 cups of water and two marrow bones cut in half. It makes me feel so good when I drink it.

Can’t wait to try and make my own! I just haven’t gotten around to it! Do you do chicken or beef?
@richardaustin939
@richardaustin939 Жыл бұрын
@@SarahhhBeth I use both. With chicken I put a whole chicken on the steam rack and pressure cook for 45 minutes. And with beef I used marrow bones and cooked for 3 hours since I wasn’t going to eat the meat. It is pressure cooked mostly with steam. It’s really good and you get fat you can separate it after it’s been refrigerated. And it will be gelatinous. For the chicken the default setting for longer cooking on high pressure is 45 minutes I think. I only used two cups of water since the instant pot does not release any steam while pressure cooking. And the meat of the chicken is pull apart tender, soft, and juicy!

@@richardaustin939 I accidentally made myself chicken broth. I just collected the leftover juice after I Cooked it in a glass container and kept it in my freezer. Unfortunately, it spoilt within 3weeks! Do you know why that is? I had some onions in it too, but it had a nice gelly-like texture.

Girl! I am currently down a rabbit hole on google/youtube rn researching birth control for hormonal acne and I have been stalking your channel. I just came from your April video when you starting using the generic form of Yaz! Not sure if you are still taking it or not but your skin looks great, in fact you have fully convinced me to go to my gyno and ask about Yaz!! Keep up the great videos and thank you for talking so candidly about acne/periods/birth control!

Try doing the carnivore diet 0 carbs 0 sugar and your acne and other skin issues will start healing..then once you get healed you can add things back into your diet one at a time to see what exactly causes the breakouts. Just have to eliminate everything to see first. Acne is caused from hormones but also can be caused from gut inflammation from foods you eat.

Just wanted to add that it does break your fast since technically anything with calories breaks a fast
@dani0732
@dani0732 6 ай бұрын
not exactly. that's why things like fasting mimicking diets that have calories don't break your fast. it has to do with nutrient sensing hormones and also the fat content.. etc. so you are literally breaking your fast but for nutritional purposes your body could still be in a "fasted state"

My supermarket sells oxtail and marrow bones, and if I want grass fed I go to a Mennonite farm or order online. I’m old and so is my dog so we both benefit from the bone broth. Sometimes I use carcasses from organic chickens that I roast. It’s all good. Listen to Grannie.

Hi Sarah :) I wanted to ask you a question. A few months ago you posted a video titled "WHY I’M STOPPING ALL OF MY CERAVE PRODUCTS! + my new “fungal acne safe” routine!"... In which you stopped using some Cerave brand products. But a few months later you made a video called "AM + PM Skincare Routine (ft. Adapalene) *NO DRYNESS OR IRRITATION! using Dr.Dray's Differin Tips!*"... In which you used cerave moisturizing lotion again and currently in your last routine I think there are several products that in theory are not good for fungal acne. Are you no longer so strict about the products you use? Or what are your current thoughts about your fungal acne? Thank you very much :)
@SarahhhBeth
@SarahhhBeth 2 жыл бұрын
Hi!! I’m on birth control and spironolactone now and I don’t really get fungal acne breakouts anymore! (Knock on wood)! I’m not super strict about about what I use now but I do notice if I use too many hydrating things I will get a few little bumps. The birth control and spironolactone help control oil and sebum production which gives malessezia less to feed off of and I think it helps quite a bit for me!
@leafxlyn
@leafxlyn 2 жыл бұрын
@@SarahhhBeth Oh, maybe you have not suffered from Fungal Acne as such but rather from PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) Since in those cases the acne is reduced when the hormones are leveled. Or maybe a mixture of both conditions. Either way, I'm glad you're better now. Greetings from Colombia :)

@@SarahhhBeth thanks for your reply babes yes it's to much bother making bone broth! it's not for me that' all that bone cooking with no bones to cook lol! I like convenient foods but try to stay away from procesed food as that's so bad for your gut so to cut this short lol (it's a bit late now lol) I to am not spending money on drink or fags yak I used to smoke but always I had a bad cheast and was coughing all the time and had stained fingers horrible yak so I gave it up 4 years ago but if people like to smoke up to them if they enjoy it me personally I'm glad smoking is out of my life forever and that I chose the healthy option still would have the odd drink at weekends but never to much as to upset my training next day doing weights fitness hill sprints and fasting is so healthy so I'm going to spend my money on bone broth like you! I get my fix listening to the immortal band linken park and it won't make me cough lol just a bit hard of hearing (joke) ps I used to get bloating and acid reflux I found digestive enzymes from the health food shops stopped bloating altogether combined with apple cider vinegar that's excellent at keeping your stomach acid up helping you brake down your food and slippery elm tablets help food move around your gut easy and mega probiotics tablets and probiotic drinks are fantastic at fighting bad bugs in our stomachs and cutting down on carbs to near nothing stopped my reflux altogether all good stuff I take all of them I never have any stomach problems now ever! so it works well I highly recommend apple cider vinegar with every meal and good digestive enzymes with each meal and of course our bone broth 😂 cheers again for your reply thanks X♥️ ❤ ps your skin and hair is fantastic with all the collagen in the broth ❤
