I've Never Had More Fun Splitting Firewood Than This

To many it's nothing more than a way of heating your home. To me it's an opportunity to refill my tanks while taking a step back from the stressors of the day. Taking one of nature's resources and processing it into something as simple as a piece of firewood to provide heat over the long winter months gives many the same feeling I get with a sense of pride and satisfaction. As the world gets busier and our lives are ever inundated with technology, it's nice to be able to step back once in a while and do something simple like splitting firewood.
