Darren I was in Thailand for months years ago and only ever ate in these type of places and never got food poisoning and even fish and chips learn some Thai 🇹🇭 I learned how to count up to 10 000 in a few days and ask how much little bits they have cow car moo 🐮 it’s lovely

The best way to be sure to get sick in Thailand is to eat at ‘fancy’ places. Real places and street food places all use fresh ingredients from the market that morning, the fancy places have freezers and dodgy veg.

I guess that's marginally superior to the boiled vege you were subsisting on for a while, DJ? More fun watching you eat it too. Not a bad chopstick technician, either, I'm impressed. I always find the sauce one of the most enjoyable parts of eating Asian food, especially drinking it straight from the bowl. I need to try that dish, it looks a belter.

DJ, i always eat at these small Thai restaurants and the street food, i am happy to pay the locals for fantastic foods, some folks are scared of street foods but for me its lovely never been sick after. I am not a cheap Charlie its just my preference for authentic Thai food. Really enjoying following your Thai holiday, cheers.

Eating street food over the last 25 years in Thailand I only got a dodgy stomach once and I got that from a high end Indian restaurant, not from the street. Enjoy the rest of the trip.

Got to say Thailand street food and small places to eat amazing food travelled so much around far east and never disappointed in the food Thailand has changed alot since I was there but the food sounds as if its as amazing as it ever was all the small off the beaten track places now swollen up by resorts but northern Thailand for me was always the best part of the country way better than Bangkok and that area.

lived in Thailand up in chiang Mia for a few years and loved it food was always excellent found driving my suzuki jeep about was fun just had to realise those motor scooters will swarm upon you 😂😂😂
