i worked at brandy melville for almost 2 years. honestly it was a great experience for me. we got to try on clothes and have a photoshoot, take home clothes we like for free etc. brandy melville doesn't really recruit only pretty girls, me myself isn't that pretty. as long as your confident and can pose nice for a photoshoot. and of course is nice and approachable. it's true that some workers are rude. they're just so toxic, the same for the brand itself. the reason why i quitted is that i started to realize brandy is just unfair, toxic, you name it. the fact that they only have one size makes some girls insecure about their body. they even starve their selves. i feel bad for them, really. i admit, brandy's clothes are cute but expensive. i just can't support this toxicity of this brand. like ew

What do you mean “more independent”?? Her mom almost always goes everywhere with her and she totally seems a lot a lot more sheltered than teens nowadays. I’m def not hating in any way, I just think videos can make make viewers think things that aren’t necessarily true. Creators can edit videos to portray lifestyles that may or may not be true-to-life. Just don’t forget how much help has been given along the way: from providing cameras/computers initially to start a channel to driving/accompanying her to all sorts of meetings, videos and events, to supporting her in transitioning to homeschooling, to helping her get Frilliance launched, to helping get her backyard shed studio built - her parents have been very accommodating and helpful. That’s great for Fiona and lucky because most kids will never have that kind of attention and support...but also important to acknowledge and not compare yourself to. I think we will really see the level of Fiona’s independence as she finishes high school and has to make decisions about her future. Many kids move out and go to college which is a true test of independence - and we will see what Fiona chooses to do. Im not discrediting the work she’s done to get to where she is...I’m only pointing out that her parents have played a big role in supporting her thus far. Success shouldn’t be confused with independence.

honestly I dont get why everyone is so pissed at her and brandy. brandy advocates a one size fits most which is around size 2 but it's actually not that small. most of the items can fit size 4 and some 6. she is also looks to be around size 6 and can fit into brandy clothes and some are even bigger which means that their clothes arent even that small to begin with. also why yall getting mad??? there are many skinny girls who have a hard time fitting into clothes and brandy is great for them. if there was a plus size shop no one would complain. yes the sizes are relatively small but why complain!?!? plus most fits a size S and some M which is average...and there are many jumpers and shirts that could fit larges sizes too...plus the employees were skinny but still the clothes they wore were not rly that tight fitting and was abit of loose fit and oversized!?! it's not really just for small sizes and if u cant fit there is no need being so angry about it as there are many skinny girls too
